Stefanie shook her head, "Alright, as you take care of that, I think I should go back home."

"Go back home?" Daniel asked, surprised.

Stefanie was a sylph, and as a sylph, she had grown up with her family and had expected that she would live and in the end die in her family. However, times were changing. Their home was dying. With the amount of pollution in the world, there weren't enough places where their families could live without the fear of sickness.

If they were to venture even deeper into the sea, then it was possible that they could die due to a lack of enough sunlight. They needed sunlight as much as they needed water to survive after all.

This was why she had been sent to search for possible places that they could call home. It had only been close to a year since she went away from the family, and she had yet to find a place where they could relocate to.
