The sun was shining brightly, its peek from the windows curtain. The warm light hit Alexandro's face, made the man wince.

Alexandro woke up. He shook his head which felt so heavy. With broad palms, the man shielded his eyes from the glare of the golden light. The sun was already rising high, rays coming through the window lattices.

The sound of the fan moving slowly on the room ceiling sounded faint. The gust of wind created from it gently brushed Alexandro's face. He woke up but not in his room, [Is it Vanessa's room?]

[Ugh… What time is it?] He thought to himself. Alexandro's throat felt dry. Water, Alexandro needed water to moisten his throat, which was as dry as the Sahara desert. He grabbed a glass of water from the nightstand and drank it down.
