Capítulo 112: He is My Son

"What's your husband's name?" Vanessa urged curiously. She hoped it wasn't a familiar name that escaped Jasmine's lips.

"His name is ... Leon, Leonardo Wijaya," answered Jasmine. Vanessa's face paled when she heard that name. 

"Why did your face suddenly turn white, Mom? are you sick?" Jasmine felt bad.

"No, I-I'm… just tired from too many patients. Maybe a cup of caffeine will cheer me up. Come on, Jasmine, let's go to the coffee shop." Vanessa got up and immediately took off the white coat and replaced it with a brown knit cardigan.

"Okay." Jasmine followed. She grabbed her bag and put her shoes on.

The two chatted lightly and stopped at a coffee shop not far from the clinic. After ordering a hot americano and a caramel latte, the two continued to speak. Jasmine talks a lot and tells about her life before knowing Leonardo.
