Capítulo 69: Negotiations

Like oil and water, Melody and Maybelle just wouldn't mix. Sparks flew as they stared each other down at point-blank distance, their chests pressed tightly against each other's as if in some sort of competition.

"Bitch? Who, me?" Maybelle smiled, but her eyes weren't smiling at all. "Well, I admit, I am. But unlike some other bitch over here who was mistaking herself as the owner, I'm a proper, submissive bitch!"

Melody, not willing to lose, returned a cynical smile. "Mistaking the owner? Hah! I am Quinlan's, and Quinlan is mine! There's no space for you to butt in!"

The air between them was slowly escalating, reaching dangerous levels. It was to the point that it wouldn't be weird if they exchanged slaps any second now. Yinuo saw this and quickly butted in, pulling the two apart and keeping them at bay.

"Alright, you two. Stop fighting," Yinuo called, her voice hiding fatigue and awkwardness.
