Capítulo 223: He didn't make it

"Who is that?" Salma whisper-asked and Celeste shook her head.

"No idea."

"Celeste, are you in there?" The voice resounded, prompting Celeste and Salma to jump to their feet. 

Salma started walking forward but Celeste pulled her back. "What are you doing?" She yelled in a whisper.

"Going to check who it is," Salma responded casually.

"Just like that? Have you forgotten you don't have your powers yet? What if it's an enemy?" Celeste probed, then added, "Stay behind me." 

Just as she said that, she activated her spear and slowly started walking to the entrance of the cave. 

"I'm not sure she is here." Celeste and Salma heard the person say, and from the tone of her voice, they detected worry. Also, the way she was talking meant she was not alone.

"If she is not here and not at the house, where else could she be?" It was a male this time.
