Capítulo 12: Chapter 11 Nick Fury
Fury was sitting in his office as he showed a video of David to Natasha.
"Is this, the Vigilante you were sent to monitor?" Fury asked.
She looked at the image taken from David's battle against Abomination carefully and nodded.
"That's him"
"Alright, stay undercover, get closer to him the next time he visits the bar, find information about him" Nick Fury said.
Natasha quietly nodded and left the office.
In her mind she was thinking about just how difficult this task was with variables such as, what if David never visits the bar, a lot of time she could have been doing something better would be wasted.
On top of that, the obvious risk.
But even though there were so many disadvantages she could think about, she was curious about David and the danger excited her a little so she didn't reject the mission.
A few minutes passed and Nick Fury had joined a meeting where a discussion was being held as to how, Subject SS should be handled.
"We should start looking into his weakness" one of the people in the meeting said.
"An agent of Shield has been dispatched to discover his weakness, but if that is unfruitful, we have to consider more drastic methods of attack" Alexander Pierce said suggesting the use of heavy weapons.
"We should avoid escalating the situation" The Secretary of State said.
"Escalating the situation? Are you joking, 60 Soldiers have permanently lost their hearing, and are as good as deaf for the rest of their lives!" The general who had read the final sentence for Thaddeus Ross shouted.
"He has not shown any ill will towards the country, maybe it was a mistake" Nick Fury said as he glanced at his Avengers initiative plan on his desk.
Pierce glanced at Nick oddly, wondering what his motive was for saying something so naive.
"He has already killed Blonsky a decorated member of the military granted it was under extraordinary circumstances but there was still benefits the country would gain from Blonsky being alive, he might have even been able to turn into a human again!
if Subject SS can do it once, he can do it again" The General said.
"He is a powerful variable with enough reason for revenge, let's not forget he was a creation of Hydra" Pierce lied through his teeth.
He was a member of Hydra, they had created super soldiers such as the winter soldier, Subject SS was not there creation.
Why would Pierce let such an uncontrollable variable continue living.
Nick Fury agreed with Pierce, but unlike Pierce Nick had hoped that David could live longer before deciding on going to war against the country, Nick still needed time to scout people so that he could smoothly launch his Avengers Initiative.
"I propose we prepare, if he strikes first we strike back, even if we know where he currently is we should hold off from launching missiles that might not be effective, It's going to take a few weeks to prepare the deployment of heavy weapons such as Nukes" The General said.
"Nukes might be a bit overkill" The Secretary of State responded
"That will also create a lot of international issues"
"I agree" Nick Fury immediately said.
"Very well but if it comes down to it we need to be prepared, in the mean time we need to have some sort of deterrence" The General said.
"Can Shield handle that?" The Secretary of State asked.
"Yes we can" Pierce replied.
"Very well, dismissed for now" The Secretary of State said and left the meeting.
The General also left leaving Nick and Pierce to be the only ones remaining.
"Nick, can we honey trap him using Agent Widow?"
"We can certainly try" Nick replied.
"Ok then, I'll leave you in charge of making it happen" Pierce said as he left the call.
Fury stayed there for a few seconds in silence his mind racing, finally he made up his mind and opened a secret compartment under his drawer which had an old cell phone and a pager.
He thought about it for a few seconds before he picked up the old phone.
Selecting the only number on it, Fury dialed it.
It rang for a long time before it was finally picked up.
"I never thought you would call me" A old voice came through the other side.
"Well extraordinary circumstances require extraordinary people to deal with Charles" Nick said with a smile.
"Is this about that super human on TV?"
"Is he a mutant Charles?" Nick asked.
"I have used the Cerebro, Someone so powerful would definitely appear but he doesn't, so no, he is not a mutant" Charles said.
Nick Fury went quiet for a while.
"Is that all Nick?"
"No... Charles would you like to join The Avengers initiative?" Nick asked.

At this time far away from Nick Fury, David's eyes glowed with a red hue as they shot out lasers that cut a hole through the four layered glass.
David's plan was to grab these four symbiotes, feed one with three of them, and breed a powerful symbiote to use as his battle suit.
Other than making a great battle suit, the symbiotes would be a great help to him furthering his strength and regeneration.
The four symbiotes were restless as they saw David shoot out lazers and began communicating in an almost noise-like manner through the interconnected web.
"Who is this guy?"
"This guy is unbelievably strong!"
In the shared memory of the entire symbiote family, David was the strongest life form that the symbiotes throughout the universe had the opportunity to create a bond with.
"Could it be the Aesir protoss in the Nine Realms? But the Aesir protoss shouldn't be like this, He is like a burning sun!" One of the symbiotes exclaimed.
They could sense what was inside David, They saw each of his cells bursting with radiation, exactly like the sun.
As soon as David cut a hole through the four layered glass he stuck his hand in.
Without the slightest hesitation, the four symbiotes rushed towards David and merged their bodies one after another into him.
In the moment they integrated, the four symbiotes instinctively parsed and adapted to David's gene chain - this has nothing to do with their will, but the instinct of the symbiote species that drives them to do so.
At this time, the four symbiotes who were still fighting in David's body, they wanted to seize the genes were suddenly stunned.
The genes that were available to them were strangely closed leaving the four symbiotes unable to open the genetic shackles.
David was looking at the systems notification at this time.
[Foreign object interfering with the Kryptonian Gene, Do you wish to protect your Gene Chain?]
"Of course" David thought to himself causing the question to disappear.
David felt a thin stream of liquid move within him.
The symbiotes fighting each other felt that as well and realized that they were locked out of adapting to Davids gene chain.
"How is this possible!?" Lasher questioned feeling extremely suprised.
"There are genes in this world that we can't break through?" Venom said with curiosity.
