Capítulo 25: Chapter 25: Thor's Hammer

"Heimdall? Rainbow Bridge?" Phil Coulson listened to Thor's words, silently noting down these terms.

Nick Fury had sent him to New Mexico to wait for the God of Thunder, and although he was extremely skeptical of Thor's existence, he had done some research on mythology.

Heimdall and the Rainbow Bridge, they were all things from mythology.

"If Thor is real, then Heimdall and the Rainbow Bridge are real, and that means the Asgardians are real too? Asgard is real?" Phil Coulson felt like his beliefs were being challenged.

Although he had already seen aliens and witnessed the existence of superpowerful beings like Captain Marvel, both of which shattered his beliefs, the sudden realization that there was a divine realm above his head, a realm of gods, was still difficult for him to accept.

"Midgardian!" Thor shouted at the top of his lungs, but there was no response. He could only return dejectedly. He walked up to Phil Coulson with a hint of melancholy. "You're different from the other Midgardians. They all think I'm crazy, but you believe me. Thank you."

"You're welcome," Phil Coulson spoke with a refined manner that was nothing like that of an agent. "Are you hungry? How about we grab something to eat?"

"That would be wonderful." Thor, being the carefree person he was, went from wanting to desperately return to the Rainbow Bridge to suddenly showing interest at the mention of food. "I haven't tasted Midgardian cuisine yet!"

"Why is it called Midgard?" Phil Coulson asked. "This place is clearly Earth."

"This is the realm of Asgard." Thor said. "As for why it's called Midgard, well, we've been calling it that for as long as I can remember." Suddenly realizing his lack of awareness, Thor asked, "Why do you believe me?"

"Because someone told me to wait for you here."

"Someone told you to wait for me?"

"My superior. He told me ten days ago that you would come, and you would arrive on Earth." Phil Coulson shrugged. "Honestly, I didn't believe it at first, but my people told me that you descended from the sky."

"What did you say?" Thor was shocked by the revelation. "They knew I would come to Earth ten days ago?"

"He also gave me this." Phil Coulson handed over the sketch drawing made by Nick Fury.

"How is this possible? Can he predict the future? Are there people like that on Earth?" Thor took the sketch and looked at it. It was indeed him, down to the clothes he was wearing.

"Is it the Ancient One?" Asgard, secretly observing Thor's situation, Odin couldn't help but doubt. A name flashed through his mind.

It couldn't be blamed for Odin's misconception. After all, in his knowledge, there was only one person on Earth who could predict the future in advance, especially when it concerned him, and that was the Ancient One.

"Although when Thor came down, he was stripped of all his godly powers and became like a Midgardian, he is still the prince of Asgard. Putting the prince of Asgard in Midgard, I should pay a visit to the Ancient One..." Odin pondered for a moment and directly contacted the Ancient One.

"Odin, I was wondering when you would ask me," the Ancient One reclined in a rocking chair, gazing at the stars.

"I sent Thor, that incompetent kid, to be exiled with you. I meant no harm, only for Thor's growth," Odin explained. "He won't cause you any trouble."

"It's not me," the Ancient One replied.

"My old friend, what are you talking about?"

"Yes, I've known what you've been up to, and I knew Thor would come. But do you think I would intervene in such matters?" the Ancient One retorted.

"Then who is waiting for Thor?" Odin asked.

"Nick Fury," the Ancient One uttered a name.

"Nick... Fury?" Odin repeated the name, utterly confused. "Who is this person? I haven't heard of him." He quickly deduced the situation but became even more perplexed. "Are you kidding me? The head of a human intelligence organization with no extraordinary qualities. How did he know Thor's whereabouts in advance?"

"Nick Fury himself couldn't, but the one who posed the question could," the Ancient One sat up and asked under the starry sky, "Have you heard of the Answering Space?"

"What is that? Is it like a college entrance exam or IELTS?" Odin inquired.

Neither Phil Coulson nor Thor knew about the conversation between the Ancient One and Odin. The two of them were seated in a hamburger joint, enjoying their meal.

More accurately, Thor was devouring his food, famished as the prince of Asgard.

"Coulson, I want to meet Nick Fury," Thor said between large mouthfuls. "Since he knew I was coming ten days ago, perhaps he also knows why my father treated me this way."

"Don't rush, fill your stomach first," Phil Coulson calmly ate his french fries.

"That thing in the crater is so intriguing, isn't it? It looks so small, yet it's so heavy."

"Dozens of strong men lined up to try lifting it, exerting all their strength, but not even a bit of it budged."

"Strong men? Remember that lady from the grocery store who used her truck to pull it? Guess what happened? She broke the truck!"

"Some say it's a star, although it looks like a hammer. But it's definitely as heavy as a star."

At that moment, several burly men entered the joint, arguing among themselves.

"Hammer!" Thor's face lit up at once, recognizing that they were discussing his hammer.

"Why isn't your hammer with you?" Phil Coulson turned to glance at the chatting men, then asked Thor.

"Forget your boss for now. Right now, I want to get my hammer back!" Thor stood up, walked over to the men, and asked, "Where is it?"

"You? You better hit the gym for another two years!" The men thought Thor also wanted to try lifting the hammer. In a way, they were right.

"I don't need more training. You can't lift it, but I can," Thor knew the hammer's whereabouts and felt delighted. He laughed, "Because it's mine!"

"Fifty miles to the west," one of the men said. "Don't cry when you can't lift it."

"Thank you," Thor patted the man's shoulder and strode out.

Phil Coulson placed some dollars on the table and followed suit.

The two of them got into the car.

"Is your hammer very heavy?" Phil Coulson asked from the driver's seat.

"It depends on who's holding it," Thor replied.

"So, for you, it's light?"

"Of course, it feels weightless," Thor said.

Soon, they arrived at the crater's location, which was now under the watchful eyes of the military.

Thor walked to the edge of the crater, staring at the hammer below, still firmly lodged in the ground.

"Finally, we meet again," Thor muttered, his eyes glowing with anticipation.

Soon, they arrived at the crater, and Thor ran over eagerly, reaching out to grab the hammer.

However, to his surprise, he couldn't even lift the hammer!
