Chapter 100
'This gives horror movie vibes rather than something like Star wars…'
Alex thought in his head as he looked up at the view of the portal opening up in the sky on the screen, and the Chitauri army pouring out. Tony tried to launch missiles at them but he was only able to kill some of them.
They were endlessly pouring out from the portal.
"I didn't think I would see something like this ever."
Steve muttered next to him. What Alex had told him had come true and they needed to find a way to stop it no matter what.
"Tony can't handle those flying basterds alone. Let me go help him."
Alex said and stood up. Walking towards the back of the quinjet, he opened up the hatch.
"What are you doing? Can you fly?"
Steve asked, stepping up after him.
"Kind of."
Alex said and jumped off the jet in mid air. Steve looked down, scared for a moment but suddenly, a skateboard appeared under his legs out of nowhere.
It started floating and Alex shouted at Steve.
"See, I'm fine."
Alex said and looked down on his jet board. This item was from a sci-fi world and had cost him almost 1000 HP. But it was all worth it.
After all, flying was something he didn't want to miss out on.
Now that he was out of the quinjet, he directed his jet board to fly towards the portal and easily passed the quinjet.
'They are more ugly in real life.'
He thought inwardly as he looked at some Chitauri chariots flying towards him. The riders on top of it noticed him and fired blasts at him but he easily dodged them.
Taking out his sword, he sent down a lightning strike at them, destroying them easily. As the chariots fell to the ground, Tony's voice came out of his earpiece.
Currently, Tony was using missiles and repulsor rays to knock out the Chitauri coming out from the portal but their numbers were just increasing by the minute.
-Kid, where did you get that from?
"Just got it. Need some help?"
-Yes, these are endless. Try to scare them off with your wolf.
"Sure!"
Alex said and joined Tony in fending off the Chitauri riders. On the ground, people screamed and tried to run away. Complete chaos had befallen upon them out of nowhere.
Watching such a scene, there was only one person who was smiling - Loki!

Loki was looking at his glorious army as they poured in from the portal that he had crested. He had worked hard to give them the platform and now, they just have to do their work and make him the rightful ruler of Earth.
In a way that he deemed fit.
As he was looking at them, Thor landed right next to him on top of the Stark Tower.
He had managed to escape the cell somehow and survive. But his anger knew no bounds. His own brother had caused something so drastic on a planet he had sworn to protect.
"Loki! Turn off the Tesseract, or I'll destroy it."
He yelled at Loki who turned to look at him. Shaking his head, he replied.
"You can't. There is no stopping it." He smiled. "There is only the war."
"So be it."
Thor said and Loki jumped at him, yelling. He tried to slash at him using the scepter but Thor dodged the attack and hit back.
They have dueled with each other for decades, so they knew the moves. They were the same exact ones. Just the tactics were always different.
Thor tried to strike with his hammer and Loki blocked it with the scepter. Due to the power behind both the mystical weapons, a force field was created around them and destroyed part of the Stark Tower.
The debris fell on the ground as Thor glanced at it.
"Loki, father will kill you for this!" He yelled, lightning crackling around his hammer.
"Only if I return."
He blocked the attack by creating a forcefield with the help of the scepter. It was at that time that the quinjet containing Clint, Natasha and Steve saw Loki and Thor fighting on top of the Stark Tower.
Clint quickly turned it around and deployed the railgun. Without wasting any time, he fired at Loki.
He dodged them by rolling around and sent out one of his most powerful force bolts. The attack hit the quinjet and smoke started rising from it.
The engine was destroyed and Clint was hardly able to control the quinjet to land safely.
"Hold tight! We are falling!"
He shouted as a loud sound came out from the engine. Steve and Natasha held on to anything they could find and suddenly, Alex's voice came out from the speakers.
-Don't worry, I'm coming!
He was currently fighting more Chitauri chariots by using wyvern rush and lightning strike but when he saw the quinjet falling, he quickly rushed towards it.
Fortunately, the technology of his jet board was way more advanced than the quinjet and he was easily able to get in front of it.
He manifested his wolf in his hands and held the quinjet, trying to stop it from crashing on the ground. Thankfully, it worked due to his increased strength and he slowly landed it in front of a building which had people rushing out of it.
"Are you okay?"
Alex asked as the hatch opened and Steve jumped out of it, followed by Clint and Natasha.
"I'm fine. It's just hard to believe what is happening."
"Yeah, it's pretty crazy."
Alex replied and frowned. The scale of the Chitauri invasion was too big and this time, he wasn't sure if the Avengers would be able to stop it.
He was sure that the invasion was even bigger than the movie.
As he was thinking that, a loud, indescribable sound came out from the portal. Everyone looked towards it and saw a scene that made them spooked.
A giant worm-like alien was coming out from it.
Seeing it, Alex couldn't help but curse in his mind.
'Fuck! The Leviathan!'
