"Right! Why didn't I think of something so simple before? If two things can't be fused, I'll just have to create a footwork technique on my own that can satisfy both of their needs at the same time!"

Mo Fan continued to fail, falling over and over again, his clothes getting dirtier for every time that his butt met the ground. There was something that his own-created footwork was missing, but he really couldn't get what that was!
With quick, elegant yet powerful movement, his footwork technique could perfectly support both the Black & White Crane Arts and the Dragon Subduing Palms, but when he tried to rapidly switch from one's technique to the other, he would always lose his balance, leading to him inevitably falling.
"Fuck! What am I missing?! I have already tried to modify the technique so that my feet would form a line and my upper body would be above its center so as to keep balance, but when I move my arms, I lose this immediately!"
"Fuck! What the fuck should I do to correct th-" Mo Fan was yelling out loud until three small twigs fell from the tree he was laying his back on and hit him on the head.
"Fucking twigs!" Already frustated from not being able to complete his footwork technique, Mo Fan angrily grabbed the twigs and strongly threw them away. After flying for a bit, they landed again on the grass of his courtyard, this time in a strange way, as they formed a little wooden triangle.
"A triangle? Are you kidding m-"
"Wait! How didn't I think about it before?!" And so, after the three little twigs made him realize something, he immediately got back to work.

After another couple of hours later...
"Yes! I've finally got it!" Mo Fan exclaimed, happy because, while swiftly changing from a technique of the Black & White Crane Arts to one of the Dragon Subduing Palms, the balance of his body wasn't getting out of his control for even a second! "Why didn't I ever think about moving in triangular steps before?! It's so simple and efficient!"
"By moving like this, my upper body weight will be concentrated on the center of the triangle created by my feet's movement, and even if I disturb this weight by moving my arms, I'll still be able to maintain the balance of my body since the area of the triangle is bigger than that of the line that my feet used to form before, meaning that the distribution of the weight will be more bearable because of the triangle's greater shape, and so I won't fall anymore!"
"Yes! Now, the only thing that is left to do is merge the Black & White Crane Arts and the Dragon Subduing Palms and I'll finally have a new heaven shattering martial skill!"

The royalness and speed of a crane, the power and destroying force of a dragon. Those were the characteristics of the martial skill that Mo Fan created by merging the Black & White Crane Arts and the Dragon Subduing Palm together.
Quick and powerful was every attack of the new martial skill, enough to even elude the sight of a weak Tempered Body stage cultivator and enough to even make an entire tree fall to the ground with a single attack.
If Mo Fan were to rank the prowess of the martial skill, he would say that it would be a Top Earth grade martial skill!
But now there was another problem: the golden-haired kid was having trouble in naming it. "Should I name it Dragonic Crane Arts? No, that doesn't sound good..."
"Then Black & White Dragon Crane Arts? No, this is too long for a name..."
"Then what about Dragonic Crane Subduing Arts? No, this doesn't sound menancing enough..."
"Wait! Imperial Dragonic Arts sound just perfect! It has the royalness part of the Crane in it as well as the melanina part of a dragon! It even sounds good!"
"I decided! This new martial skill will be called the Imperial Dragonic Arts! Welcome, Imperial Dr-"

~Dong~
And just in that moment, the bell of the workshop rang. "Sigh... why do customers have to always come during something important..."
And so, Mo Fan quickly returned to the workshop and greeted the newly arrived customer. "Welcome to Mo Fan's workshop... how can I help..."
But it didn't take him that long to realize who that customer was. "Ah, are you perhaps Su Yan? The Ice Queen of the sect?"

"I wonder what brings you into this lowly workshop of mine," Mo Fan calmly said, while quickly going behind the counter before starting to lightly chuckle. "I hope that you've not come here to take revenge for your brother; that would be very unfortunate for me."
"Don't worry, Junior brother," the ice beauty replied. "I've come to thank you instead and to also apologize for all the troubles that Su Mu, that rascal brother of mine, has caused you and for how he treated you in the past."
"Huh? Thank me? And for what?"
"Well, since you've tought that brat a lesson, he has been taking cultivation seriously and not taking things easily like before. For that, you deserve to have my gratitude."
"Happy to hear that, but..." Mo Fan began with a smile on his face. "Is there something else that you need my help with? Maybe I can forge you a new weapon."
"Are you saying that you can forge weapons that can be of any help to me?" Su Yan asked with a suspicious look.
"Well, I may have become a little rusty since it's been quite a while since I've last made a really good weapon, but I think that I can still probably produce something on the Low Heaven grade for you!"
"Really? Then..."

I hope you understood the footwork technique's principles. I tried to explain it the simpler I could, but due to a lack of word, it probably wasn't explained that good. I hope you like it anyways.
