Capítulo 169: Chapter 168 Check Up 1

"No.. don't be scared princess, I won't do anything to you. Not when your good for nothing husband has not even laid a finger on you!" "What a stupid man!" Dad said scornfully.

"He must be keeping you for a special reason don't you think?" He smiled.

"What are you talking about?" "Why would a man not touch a beautiful lady as hot as yourself? "You're supposed to be my father!" I yelled at him. No father have this conversations with their daughters, I know most of them tell how beautiful their daughters are, but not in this way.

"You and I know we establish more relationship stronger than the father and daughter relationship!" I didn't know how long I could hold back the tears threatening to fall from my eyes. "I want to leave, I have a car to take me back home!" I said firmly.

"Hahaha, no need to rush now. You know we have an unfinished business to handle!" His hands went down to my thighs and I didn't hesitate to hit it down. This was why mum always protected me from this evil man with a father's mask on.

"I don't recall having any unfinished business with you Mr Xavier!" "Mr Xavier?" He raised a brow and pulled his lips up to a grin.

"You stopped being my father the very day you tried molesting me!" If he thinks I've forgotten, then he should be aware that I know what he did to me. "And what makes you think that incident cannot repeat itself again or better still this time I might have my way?" He said nonchalantly.

.

"Do you still have the videos to bring her down!" "Yes mother!" Berverly's eyes glowed mischievously at her mother's words. "It's time to put Hazel in her place, there's no need to worry, I would be of great assistance to her and my sister!"

"I love her but that doesn't mean I'll let her insult and humiliate you before me!" This was the very reason she hated her sister. Vanessa always called her stupid each time she talks about getting married to a rich man even if he was married.

Now her daughter was doing  the same thing to her kids. No she would not let that happen, never.

.

"You're a disgusting m.....!" "Oh shut up, who told you you're safe from me. You think your marriage with that little boy would save you Hazel? Remember I put you where you are and I can remove you!" He said viciously.

"I thought I've made it very clear to you, I'm not interested in your ridiculous plans. If you want to do something, do it yourself, don't get me involved!" "And yes please stay away from me and my life!"

"Hahaha, you're so funny aren't you!" He grabbed my neck immediately hitting my head on the glass, "Ah!" I yelped in pain as his grip on me tightened. I clutched unto his shirt struggling to breath which I couldn't. Tears flowed down my cheek as I felt my body getting weaker and weaker.

"Now listen carefully!" How was I supposed to listen when I was dieing, but I tried to keep my sanity and listen to him. "When I made you the offer, I never gave you any room to protest. You would do as I say without any further complaint!" Slowly my eyes were closing as I could no longer concentrate.

It was only then he let me go. I coughed like my life depended on it as I heaved for air. His grip on me few minutes ago was so unbearable. "We'll get to action when the time is right!" He smiled. "It was lovely talking to you my dear daughter!" At his words I realized we were home.

We were finally home.

I got out of the car immediately, I couldn't afford spending another minute with that man. I turned my gaze to see Alex just stepping out of his, "Alex!" I rushed up to him quickly, giving him a tight hug. "Are you alright?" He asked worriedly.

"Alexander!" Father greeted for him to turn his gaze back to his direction. "Father in law!" Father smiled. "I saw your wife at the hospital, being ambushed by some men!" He said quickly clearing the air before I even got a chance to speak.

What just happened?

Alex narrowed his eyes at Xavier's words, who would dare abuse his wife. "Is that true?" He held her chin to meet her gaze and he could clearly see the marks on her neck. Someone gripped her neck and the woman before him was in tears as her body kept vibrating.

What Alex didn't know was that Hazel cried cause she knew her father was lieing about everything to him. She just couldn't do what he had asked her to do, it was just so impossible. She now loved the man before her, even if she hated him, she didn't have the heart to do it.

Alex wanted to leave the country, but he had to come back when he remembered his appointment with the doctor about Hazel's health issues. They just needed to be sure she was alright and there was no chance of her having the same illness as her mother.

With gritted teeth, "Who did this to you?" Alex was no fool not to know the relationship between Hazel and her father, their sudden closeness now is what he couldn't understand. "You don't need to worry Alex, I took good care of them!" Xavier reassured.

"Let's go in, you too Father, come in let's have lunch together!" Alex offered for the man to knod.

It would have been impossible to get into this estate or mansion if not for Hazel. The foolish girl, she's just as foolish as her mother. Xavier thought.

If everything goes as planned, then soon this house would be his too. He stared at the couple moving up the grand stairs, as the butler stopped him from going further. His Hazel was really a natural in winning people's heart especially men.

He just didn't know when he developed feelings for her at such a young age. He believed it wasn't his fault, she was such a beautiful and innocent girl. She believed everything he told her, cause she grew up with so much love around.

It would be hard for her to adapt to this world, and even harder when she finds out he is not her real father. At least she knows that he stole her mother's money, must have been Vanessa's doing. He had to find that woman and end it once and for all, before she reveals more about him.

She's the only one who knows who he truly is. She knows everything about him. Xavier sat on the couch as he watched the butler turn some drink into his glass.

"The growing relationship between your master and madam is beautiful!" Xavier spoke to Gaius for the man to agree immediately.

"They really love each other so much but are just stubborn to admit it sir. Well, I have to return to my place of work, if you need anything, the maids will be of great assistance!" Gaius left.

"What happened to you?" Alex asked as he placed me on the bed. It was hard gulping my saliva cause my throat hurts alot. "Thought my Dad already told you?" "When did you guys get so close?" He narrowed his eyes at me.

"He just happened to be there when it happened!" My dad is a psychopath and I would not let him harm Alex even if it would mean standing up to him which I'd have to do from now on.

I know getting Alex involved might just be him killing Dad. I don't want a situation when my kids ask of their grandfather and then I tell them their dad killed him or an old friend of mine killed him.

"Can I hug you Alex?" That was all I needed, just a hug. "Come here!" Alex pulled me to himself as he embraced me. I could hear his steady heart beat, and that calmed my raising heart. I couldn't hold back the tears at the verge of falling from my eyes. My grip on him tightened as I let everything out, sobbing loudly.
