Capítulo 48: The Lovey-Dovey

"I don't want her in my house," he retorted.

"Oh, now I'm back to being your slave? Just a few days ago, you kissed me like I was the most precious thing in your life, and now what?" She asked, slightly raising her voice. She didn't know why it was essential to win, but she wouldn't lose this battle.

"Let's not act like you didn't want that kiss as much as I did," he scoffed, and she rolled her eyes.

"Now you're just going off track. I believe I was talking about you treating me like a slave."

"You fucking brought up the kiss" he threw his hands up in disbelief. She was asking for this fight.

"As a backup to my main point. Look, I don't care what you think about my friend, but she will be taking care of my brother," Maria insisted.

"Not in my house!" He maintained. Maria jumped off the bed, fuming. She could not believe her ears, and neither could she feel the audacity of this man.
