Ethel was certain that that was the dumbest thing she had ever done in her life. Even if she was not sure if it was really her own will to follow her husband, she still felt guilty for making it happen.
Leaving her child without any guardian and making him deal with everything on his own at such a young age was unforgivable. She knows to herself that Christopher also has the right to get angry at her.
"C-can you still call me mother?" Ethel asked with hesitation. She is now staring at Christopher's eyes, which are as red as ever. She was waiting for his response, hoping that Christopher didn't hate her that much.
"Can you?" She asked again, but the answer never came out of Christopher's mouth.
"Christopher!"
Ginalou suddenly appeared and pushed Ethel away so she could jump into Christopher's arms and hug him.
"Ginalou!" Christopher exclaimed and hugged back.
