Capítulo 5: Boss Battle
As we start walking to the boss chamber ( it's a hallway that connects the rest-room to the boss room) I notice that Cammy is shaking.
" Hey, can you use dark magic by any chance?"
" I... only know two spells "
" And they are?"
" The first one is dark domain. Its a common growth type skill I got from a skill book drop at an F - rank dungeon. After that, I used its power to do some more adventuring which is when I unlocked my second skill, black bullet (It's power scales with lvl). It can instantly cause necrosis on impact and will weaken an enemy with stuff like nausea and it even deals damage over time"
" Alright then, catch" I throw over the dark staff to her.
" cast dark domain the second we step foot in the room, then use all your mana to hit the hob with black bullets"
" then what will you do?"
" I'll focus on any stray goblin in the room and protect you"
" won't you attack the boss??"
" I won't have to, you'll definitely kill it"
"~~~~"
The big stone doors swing open and again thud against the walls, alerting all the goblins in the room.
*qwuaaaaa*
There's 13 goblins in the room equipped with swords, the hob stands in the middle with a great sword and iron helm.
" What did I tell you?!!"
" So..sorry, Darku-buuleta!"
the room gets darker and the air turns cold. the staff starts to glow purple and rapid fires shot after shot directly at the hob and before her mana goes down halfway the hob had already turned into a smoldering black mush.
" wh..... what is this staff/1 "
" It was loot, from the rest-room... and its on loan!'
After that was over the hobs body began to fizz and out popped a necklace.
Necklace: uncommon
magic gear: attack type
- upon equip, will turn some of your magic into strength
" Hey! put this on"
" ok"
"Now then, time for ya'll to die, K?"
I then proceed to Smash and slice all the goblins in the room after Cammy cast her Dark Domain skill.

One of their bodies dropped a small misshapen rock. I put it in my pocket and make my way to the newly opened wall. We walk for a few minutes until we exit the dungeon( it was a tunnel coming out the side of a hill) and finally reach fresh air.
" Did you lvl up at all Cammy?"
" Just once, I already put both stat points into my intelligence"
" So when you lvl up you get 2 free stat points... but how much do all your other stats rise?"
" By one obviously, how do you not know that??"
" No reason "
After 4 minutes of walking I finally ask where we are going. Cammy tells me that there is a town within walking distance of this dungeon.
" So is there a fee I have to pay to become an adventurer or something"
" 26 coppers "
" you got that covered for me right?"
" What are.... no, now that were out of the dungeon our business is concluded"
" Sure it is, and secondly, I wasn't asking"
Using the total authority I hold over her soul I command her to help me register as an adventurer the second we get to town. After about 1 hour of walking we reach a small village surrounded a large stone wall and head to the guild hall.
There's this shota lookin-ass little blonde girl that works as a receptionist.
" uh hi..... i'd like to be an adventurer please "
" k just... place your hand here and pay the fee or whatever "
wow, this attitude really isn't working for me.
" k then "
I put my hand on this tiny green orb that starts to glow a light blue.
Then an amulet materializes right next to it with a tiny screen on it.
I pick it up an check my stats.

Oh so this tracks all my stats, that's cool.
" Yo mister, are you ~~ a hero ~~?"
" I'm no hero "
" Hmmm"
" So I can go over to that quest board and chose a quest befitting of my rank right?"
" How'd you know?"
" I guessed "
I walk over to the board and chose a basic subjugation request. Its just a small goblin camp that might have a hob or two. This should be pretty easy for us now that we've gotten stronger.
" We'll take this one"
she stamps it which leaves behind a glowing mark. Then she rolls it up and ties it.
" Remember to bring back proof that you killed them k. Even if you fail you'll get payed for it'
" sure thing "
" lets go Cam "
" hmmmm"
we make our way to where the expected location of the goblin camp and I decide to distribute my stats now before the fight. Ill try not to pass out. I put 5 in intelligence, 5 in strength, 5 in agility, and 3 in charm. ill keep 2 for now.
yup, here it comes. It hurts quite a bit but I keep my voice down and my eyes open.
" Are you okay~~??"
" I'm fine~~"
After a while the pain goes away and we start our attack. Cammy casts her Dark Domain and casts non stop Black bullets ( she claps both of the hobs). I then dispatch the remaining 19 goblins. That was way too easy. Ill chose a harder quest this time around. During the fight I leveled up 5 times and Cammy LVLed up twice.
Yeah that's right, I just got 50 free stat points + 25 to all my stats ecept charm which got +5. This definitely isn't op at all. Not one bit.
" Alright collect their ears "
" Fine"
No loot dropped from any of the goblins but that's okay. I could easily kill three times the amount of enemies we just fought bare handed.
We return to the guild hall and hand over the huge bag of proof.
" Okay then here "
" The receptionist gave me 2 silver coins as payment "
" Hey can I rank up just by having the system register my stats"
" No, youll need to pass a test"
" Plus theres no way you ranked up after 1 quest "
" Yeah okay then"
" Uhh, Mister ?"
" What do you want Cammy?"
" Could you please.... buy me new clothes~~"
Ooops, I forgot all she had on was a loin cloth and my lab coat.
" Yeah sure thing, we'll go there now."
