Capítulo 38: Girl With A Mark

As I took a moment to think about Rick's intentions, I couldn't help but wonder why he initially intended to give the key to my father, but he ended up giving it to me instead. 

Why did he change his mind?

Did he like me this much, or maybe there was an issue with my father?

I put these thoughts aside and kept reading the paper.

"The blood on the knife belongs to my beloved wife, Alice Rockford, who tragically lost her life to an unknown assailant. Despite our efforts, the Mafia and I were unable to uncover any leads on her murderer, even with this golden knife as evidence."

"All I ask is that you continue the search for justice on her behalf. Her parents remain alive, and I've provided their contact information, but I urge you not to involve them in this matter."

"There had better be a good reason for my death.
