Returning to Ontario brought a wave of exhaustion crashing over us, reminiscent of our late-night returns from Rome. This time, however, it was the early hours of the morning that greeted us. My first order of business upon arrival was settling Gio's bail, a task made easier by Carlos's unexpectedly generous contribution of $10 million. With the legal matters sorted, Gio and Giana headed home, inviting me to join them later for a welcome-back celebration.

Entering my room, I spotted my neglected phone resting on my desk, a relic from the time of my abduction. As I powered it on, a flood of missed calls and messages from Souline, Gio, Celeste, and Celine filled the screen, overwhelming my storage capacity. Deciding to clear the clutter, I deleted the backlog of messages before turning my attention to unpacking the new additions to my wardrobe.
