Sinopse

"What is Teamwork?
What is Friendship?
What are Dreams and Unity and all those inspirational crap?

Those are nothing but fairy tales in the face of my absolute power, speed, and technique!
I am Santi Arthrit. The best Sepak Takraw player in the world.
You can come to me in singles, doubles, a full Regu, or even in hundreds! I will crush you all with pure domination.

I am the Legendary One-Man Team.
The One-in-a-billion prodigy.
I am the Takraw God!

Nothing and no one in this world can ever stand against me. I am undefeated!

I am unbreakable!"

Or so he thought until a harsh and shameless reality smacked his face in a form of a Balut-flavored Sepak Takraw ball.

"WHO DID THAT!?" a furious Santi scanned the crowd until a cheeky-looking Balut vendor popped forward with an annoyed face.

"My name is Chiko and you owe me three hundred seventy-five pesos! No. Make it four hundred for the spilled peanuts, taxes, and fees!"

Behind him is a pale-looking janitor cleaning the mess they made. A simple-looking guy, carrying the scariest secret.

On the other side, an ex-convict, bald fatty was busy stealing purses and phones with literal ease from the audience.

Little did they know that the balut vendor, the janitor, and the purse snatcher are all fated to become a Sepak Takraw Team that will soon shake the world.

Like most of the people know Sepak Takraw is one of the greatest native sports in Southeast Asia and being able to make a fiction novel about it, is so cool ! kudos to the AUTHOR MR.NAZZ! 👍 for having a creative mind! I read the prologue of this novel, i can say it's really good! worth recommending and of course it's worth your time 😊 !

It's rare to see a sports story based on one of the famous southeast asian sport. Also, I rarely saw webnovels with Filipino myth included in the story. So far the story is really nice to read and easy to grasp. The world building is still small since there are only few chapters. Overall, this is a promising story and I really look forward to more chapters.

Hi Guys! Author-sama here. If you are a fan of sports novel and love to try something new, I greatly recommend reading this. I have these story boiling in my head since I was in college (way back around year 2009) and It started as a short story presentation for my english teacher Mr. Ulysis Tisado who greatly inspired me that time. In honor to him, I would like to dedicate this book to my teacher Mr. Ulysis Tisado (U-Bear) for candling my almost-gone hope and encouraging me that I can do and reach my dreams. To My family, Richel Commission who stayed with me thru thick and thins and understood me the most, my Parents and ever loving Grand mother Lola Betty. To my brothers in Bond: Ieusef, Jembook, Peleno, Boknoy. Long LEB! and most importantly to Jesus my God Almighty. All glory, honor and praise to him for I am a nobody without him. Cheers and God Bless. Enjoy!

Lots of nationalism in the comments, don't get me wrong it's ok to be a patriot but I don't think you should give the book a 5 stars just because it's about your nation's sport. Reviews are for the book, not the sport.

This review is part of a review swap and valid as of chapter 20. A sports story usually runs as a coming of age one. And in the end this one does follow that fram. It does, however, start with the cracks showing in the current superstar's performance. There's a second arc which has just started. It's extremely confusing since it more or less reads as an entirely new story. Add that we're overdosed by magical realism out of nowhere and I'm sitting here totally clueless about where this is going. I can't even say if I feel clueless in a good or a bad way. The English used is shaky, tense handling wavering and usage of point of view a bit undisciplined. These aspects all detract from the reading experience. Now for the stars. Writing: Four stars. For the reasons mentioned above. Updates: Five stars. Basically been dumped to site in three chunks three days apart. So not every day but solid. Story: Five stars. With a very nice handoff from one main character to another this is your expected 'a new star is born' kind of story. Well done this far. Character: Five stars. There are just two of them at the moment with a third being introduced. The two main ones are well fleshed out, the third, for obvious reasons, less so. Supporting cast get less screen time. World: Four stars. Something's lacking in the setting. I'm yanking a star because much of the story is set outside the playing field, but only that field gets to become the assisting character, setting, needed for the story. Lastly, here's your chance to experience an unknown sports. Given an overhaul of the English language used I'm expecting a thoroughly pleasant read for anyone interested in sports stories.

Sepak takraw or kick volleyball, is a sport native to Southeast Asia. Sepak takraw differs from the similar sport of footvolley in its use of a rattan ball and only allowing players to use their feet, knee, chest and head to touch the ball.

After reading a lot of webnovel stories, this is my first time reading a sports novel. What entices me more to read is the topic itself! Its about sepak takraw!!!!!! Most Filipinos loved to play this game.. Finally, there's one! We will definitely support the author! Please give us more chapters to read with..

"Sepak" is the Malay word for kick and "takraw" is the Thai word for a woven rattan ball; therefore sepak takraw quite literally means "to kick a ball

In Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, it is called sepak takraw. In Malaysia, it can be known as sepak raga as well. In Thailand, it is called as takraw only. In Laos, it is kataw (Lao: "twine" and "kick").[1] In the Philippines, besides the borrowed term "takraw", it is also called sepak takraw and also has a similar sport called “sipa” or “kick”. In Myanmar, it is known as chin lone, and is considered more of an art as there is often no opposing team, and the point is to keep the ball aloft gracefully and interestingly
