"Because I am the one chosen to be your mate by the moon guardian, that person who betrayed you was chosen by yourself!" I mocked him a little, my brows raised, and eyes filled with a challenge.

His lips twitched into a smirk as his eyes filled with amusement

"You yourself were unaware of being my mate. What if all this is your plan?" His hand lingered on my cheek, and I tried my best to not show any reaction to his tactics.

How long is he going to keep this up?

"Being your mate is the only reason I am unharmed, otherwise I would have been thrown into a dungeon and tortured. I am sure no one except for circumstances like mine would take this risk."
