"Is he always this gloomy?" The lady playfully quipped, directing her question to Gu Da. "I'm not entirely sure what's going on with him, but he arrived with the witch earlier," Gu Da replied, shedding some light on Sun Jing's mysterious presence.

"Given that North Edge Town is safe now, we should make our way there on our own," suggested the old man upon hearing about the witch's protective barrier. The lady nodded in agreement, appreciating the old man's pragmatic suggestion.

"Let's hope the other inns are still open when we return," the lady expressed her hope. However, her hope was dashed when Gu Xiao softly responded, "Sorry, leader, I believe by then only the Knight Inn will remain open."

With a resigned sigh, the lady set off back to Prosperous Town accompanied by Gu Da and Gu Xiao, while the old man and the tamers continued their journey towards North Edge Town.
