Capítulo 27: SATISFACTION
Cindy and Jack were dumbfounded by Mary, Ella, Aiden and Jason's reaction. Both of them never thought that these people would support Maria unconditionally and even used poisonous tongue against them. Most astonishing part for them was that both of their parents begged Ella and Aiden's family for business co-operation. 'Who are they ? What was their identity? Looks like they trapped themselves instead of Maria.' Jack and Cindy thought themselves.
However both Jack and Cindy did not want to sit idle in this situation. They had to salvage their situation. They had to fight. Otherwise their long term plan would be failed. Unknown to them, their plan failed long ago and now it just drama time. And Maria made this situation more interesting and dramatic. Standing at the side , Joseph and his team enjoyed last piece of entertainment. Because after that they would become busy with their work.
"Ella, do not talk non-sense. When did my dad and father-in-law beg your family for business co-operation? Why did we not know about this? Do not slander our family, otherwise we will sue for slandering. What is your identity? You are just like your bastard friend Maria. How could our respected family beg to your bastard parents?" Cindy said with furious tone and her remaining hypocritical disguise almost broke.
"Mary, you should present evidence when you talk other person's crime. Otherwise no one believe you. Also do not slander Cindy and me with your self-righteous face. It's disgusting. And Aiden, you should check your family identity before coming this kind of high class banquet. You are another lowly person like your sweetheart Maria. Also do not pretend to be smart here. Every guest can prove who has negative IQ. You guys are like parasite who only knows to destroy other people's live." Jack said with angry and cold tone. Still maintained his gentleman look and self-righteous attitude.
When everyone heard Cindy and Jack's words one after one and saw their expression , they became speechless again. They now witnessed Grey and Martin Family member's a new type of hypocrisy. However Joseph and his team had enjoyed enough of this drama. Thus Joseph showed his presence.
"Mr and Mrs Martin , we already heard enough of you. Both of you should glad that we have patient to listen your nonsense. Otherwise both of you never had chance to talk. We came prepared to arrest the criminal, not to interrogate or to judge criminals by listening anyone." Joseph said coldly.
After Joseph finished speaking Maria opened her mouth. "Mr Foley, do not talk right or wrong with this foolish couple. They always think that they are right above law. They always put their opinions on others and thought they can make anyone's life living hell. They always act like that the whole world resolve around them. Please proceed forward officers. We do not want to go hospital by listening their nonsense."
As soon as Maria finished speaking Maria's friends and some other ladies laughed little loudly. This made the whole scene more funny. Even guests felt that Maria's sense of humor was better than certain someone. Guests were enjoying this drama more than wedding banquet. Because they did not see such humiliating scene everyday.
Speaking of foolish couple, they stared at Maria with their big eyes. They could not believe their ears. They still thought that Maria's shamelessness was more evident than before. However they did not open their mouth this time. They were waiting for Maria's humiliation. Thinking all of this, both of them were excited. But their excitement only for short time.
"Ahem, ahem. Mr and Mrs Martin, don't be too happy. Your excitement is only short period of time." One of the officers said amusement.
"Shut up fatty. Let me talk. Everyone already heard about the news of Eva Wood's drug dealing case along with Shawn Hu and Harry Seth. We captured three of them together with drugs. Then we also found human trafficking case connection which we were tracking for long, with the drug dealing case. Today we found more evidences and missing links of both cases. And Jack Martin and Cindy Grey are directly and indirectly involved with both cases. They also involve in prostitution business and some insignificant unsolved murder case. Thus Jack Martin and Cindy Grey both of you are guilty for several crimes. Arrest them and cease their belongings." Joseph said seriously and behaved like a cold person.
"Also we found several evidences against both family's business. Both company are well connected with thugs, robbers and street mafia. They helped both company to solve small problems. Rest they did some kidnapping and murder for their side business. Every evidence is conclusive. Also Maria June and her friends filled a case against Grey Family members for kidnapping Maria, hiding her identity, drugging her to lose her memory , torturing her mentally and exploiting her intentionally. So there will be no banquet for respected guests. And arrest the rest of members of both family." Joseph said the rest matter.
After Joseph finished his statement , the whole hall became pin drop silent. Even breathing stopped some guests. They never thought that their wild dream which both family had this kind of dark history. They truly felt disgusted. Some even thought that both family humiliated them a lot. Although both family had pretty good ranking in City F , they still were not true noble family.
As for both family, their reaction were comical. They never thought that police would find their hidden skeleton so easily. Thus all of both family members became mute. Looked like they were statue.
As soon as Joseph gave orders, his team members started their action. Then they gathered everyone of both family and handcuffed them. Only then family members regained their senses. Thus two drama maker started their drama.
"Officer Foley, you can not do this to us. We are not criminals. We have certain status in City F and you should know what to do. Me and my family are innocent. If you want to capture someone , then Maria should be the one. She is a bastard child without parents. My father spent his 4years amount money for this ungrateful bastard. Her all friends are criminal like her. She always used her beautiful look for gaining advantages from rich family." Cindy shouted and behaved like crazy.
"Cindy is right , officer Foley. We are respectful person from well known family. We have enough resources and money for our family. So why would we need to do crime for our advantages? Officer you need to double check the evidence of our crimes. You don't have to do things hasty. Otherwise you will have to pay the price of your mistake. As for Maria , you should check her multiple crimes cases , same goes for her friends. That's all. If you want to arrest us , then we need our family lawyer right now. Only then you can proceed." Jack said with calm voice but inside he was panicking. Because Maria hadn't participated any kind of crimes.
After hearing Cindy and Jack's another righteous nonsense. Joseph Foley chuckled coldly. and felt like he was in comedy show. Then he seriously said , "Enough Mr and Mrs Martin. We heard lot of your funny lecture about law and order. And don't threaten us so easily. We are not ordinary person either. Please check our identity before threaten us. We have enough evidence against all of your family members. For your kind information, Maria and her friends have zero criminal record. On the opposite Maria was schemed many times by both of you. You guys also staged many criminal activities against Maria and her friends along with yours family lawyer and they also involved many of your criminal activities. Thus they will be arrested with you as well. Also any of you do not have any rights to call lawyer. Arrest them."
After hearing Joseph's last statement , no one was felt surprised. They felt that everything was on right track. Both Grey and Martin Family's members should be punished as soon as possible. Because their every crime did beat another one. They were inhuman in nature. However Cindy and Jack and their family members face became ashen. Looked like all blood from their face and turned white. They never assumed that their years of plans failed because of that jinx Maria. After knowing her , their luck seemed to become unlucky.
On the other hand Maria and her friends snickered at Cindy and Jack's reaction. Mike almost laughed out loud after watching drama. He was thanking Maria for colorful drama. Both Robert and Sam were witnessing Mike's expression and drama at downstairs.
After 15 minutes later Joseph and his team arrested both family's members and left the banquet hall. Before leaving there Joseph thanked Maria and told every guest to leave there. After Joseph and his team left there , everyone started to leave the hall. Then Aiden and Ella closed their live streaming platform.
On Cindy and Jack's side , many reporters gathered around both family members and police officers. And they started to click many photos and questioned Joseph and Martin couple. However due to their procedure , he did not say much and told them to leave. Also informed them that his team would announce about the investigation result at 4:00 pm. All reporters agreed and gave space for them to leave. Because all reporters knew about the live streaming matter. They just did their job.
After everyone left the hall , Maria and her friends stood outside the hotel and were waiting for Mike. At this moment Mike was coming like playboy with ambiguous smile. Seeing Mike's pose , Maria twisted her mouth and rolled her eyes. However Jason and others were awe after seeing Mike's pose. Then Mike's said with coquettish tone , "June darling how are you feeling now? I enjoyed the drama very much after few years later. You are awesome darling."
"I'm feeling so-so. If you are satisfied , then I'm also satisfied. Now start your work which I gave yesterday , understood." Maria said without expression.
"Yep , baby. everything will be done asap. You do not have to worry about that. Your sweetheart is here." Mike said like a little darling and gave Maria a hug and kiss.
