Capítulo 35: LADIES OF HILL FAMILY
At 1:00 am, Robert completed his unfinished work and went to sleep. Tonight he felt his body was extra light. Even he had a faint smile on his lips which he did not even notice. Actually Robert was excited inside and was waiting for his family to arrive. Thinking all of these , he fell asleep peacefully.
After banquet ended, Hill Family's ladies gathered together at lawn of Matthew and Avery's residence wing. Only Henry and Regina's family did not gather there , in addition younger generation did not go there with ladies of Hill. As soon as they sat there, Avery ordered maid to bring snacks and juice.
"Avery , what will happen next Hill family? Will dad and mom evict those blood suckers from Hill Family?" Lilith Hill asked curiously.
"Those blood suckers will evict from Hill Family very soon. I think dad already selected a date for this matter. I'm worried about recent political matters. Even I was aware of City F's reshuffle. Capital City was already in turmoil. I guess both Henry and Regina are linked with some shady matters." Avery seriously told her guess.
Hearing Avery's bold guess , other ladies were stunned. Because they did not think of this matter before. Only then old master's second daughter-in-law Catherine Xiao revealed another serious matter.
"I did not think this matter seriously before today. Now that Avery mentioned her guess, I can tell some disturbing matter. After City F's political reshuffle, both Robert and dad became serious suddenly. Even dad ordered Robert to come City B as soon as possible , when Robert was City F. Dad did call my honey and third brother for serious discussion about City F's matter."
"How did you know all of this? I did not even notice this while I was here. Did you join Robert's department?" Andrea Xiao (third daughter-in-law) asked seriously.
"Are you crazy? Why would I join Robert department? I'm okay with my profession. You did not know this matter because you was busy with your schedule surgery. I only knew after arriving home that day early. In addition dad did not even tell me anything. I just heard their conversation. Besides I have serious doubt towards Henry and Regina's profession." Catherine explained.
"I think our Hill Family is targeted. Those big dishes definitely want to make scapegoat of our family for their crimes. Only in these way they can save their tails. However Joseph Foley played very smartly. He ended City F's matter within there and did not connect other places or people. I think some drama are about to come." Avery said with a smirk.
"Now you're here , dad will call a family meeting soon. I think we should be careful around those so-called posh ladies. They only know how to spend husband's money and do gossips." Julia Hill (second daughter) said with a smile.
"Speaking of so-called posh ladies , Avery did you choose Sherry for Robert's partner?" Lilith joked.
"Lili sweety , don't joke about serious matter. Otherwise my babe and me will get stuck with that brainless socialite. My time will go waste if I hate her. In addition I don't want to create rift between my son and me. I'm eagerly waiting for my future daughter." Avery commented with half joking manner.
"Speaking of Robert's future wife , dad actually planned this dinner plan for discussion of Robert's marriage. As far I know, dad hinted Robert's marriage idea and mom secretly informed about Robert's love. If Henry and Regina did not interfere , with dad's plan we could have already met that girl already." Andrea showed her disappointment through statement.
"You should be happy about this matter. I think it was blessing in disguise. Otherwise Henry and Regina knew an important matter of Robert's life." Catherine said as a matter of fact.
"You are right, Cathy. Henry and Regina are still in dark about Robert's matter. It's a good sign. Otherwise they will keep making troubles for her. Dad made a right decision not to reveal about her." Julia said with a relaxed tone.
"I'm just curious about my future daughter. How much power does she have to subdue my emotionless and cold son? Did mom and dad see her photo?" Avery revealed her curiosity about Maria.
"Mom and dad did not know about her. Robert only told them that he had a good news to share. Only dad guessed and Robert silently agreed. I thought dad would investigate about her. But dad still did not open his mouth." Andrea said with an interesting tone.
"I think dad did not dare to do it. Another possibility is that Robert hide her information very well. Who can be the girl Robert appreciate as his life partner?" Lilith said with a certain tone.
"As far I know , Robert stayed City F for few days. When political crisis started , he was there. After dad ordered him to come City B immediately , he arrived next day. I think she is from City F. Avi, you can check City F for her information. She is definitely a famous person of City F." Catherine revealed her guess.
"Even if she is not famous as we thought , she may have powerful personality to have an accident with Robert. I guess she is like our Robert who does not socialize with outsiders , except family and friends. Or she has a unusual profession like Robert. Avi , you should check about her and go on a date with her ; before Robert stop everyone to her." Julia commented.
"That's true. My son is one of a kind. He will definitely hide her after tonight's incident. I can check on her recent activities. However I'm not sure I can find her name or her single information. I will talk to Robert about this matter and then check on my future daughter. I hope my cold son will tell me something. Julia, can you give me City F's recent case information? In addition I need to know the details about political reshuffle. And give me the details of Joseph and his team." Avery said.
"Okay, Avi. I will give you those information in two days. However you should careful about that case. Many big fishes already involved in that case. Some wanted to make Hill Family as a scapegoat and wanted to clean up their dirty hands. As far I know, Henry and Regina already got involved with them unknowingly. Or they knew their intentions from beginning." Julia stated.
"How could that two idiots understand those cunning big fishes scheme? They thought that they will get some support and can lead the Hill Family. Those cunning fishes used them to hide their trace.They do not have ability to distinguish a person , then how can they lead a family like Hill Family who had hundreds years of histor." Lilith commented sarcastically.
"They ain't that stupid. They still think that Hill family is like other influential family , even they lived Hill Family more than fifty years. To be more precise they still haven't understood the depth of Hill Family's history and reputation. Actually it's not their fault. Their peanut size brain could not contain hundreds years history of Hill Family. But it is a good news for us. Otherwise Hill family have to face internal problems also due to them." Catherine said with a serious face.
"That's the reason dad summoned Robert here. Otherwise Robert would have stayed City F few more days. Otherwise Avi had to personally go City F for her darling son." Andrea joked.
"That would definitely happen. After 30 years , he fall in love for first time. I will doubt his love if he doesn't show his possessiveness towards her. Still I have a doubt about their relationship matter. Robert isn't love at first sight person. Some incident might happen there which is the reason for my son possessive nature surfaced. My heart says that my son fell in love with that girl after that incident. Otherwise we may hear some noise." Avery said with a serious tone.
"Looks like you understand Robert's nature very will. How will you pacify your son this time? Although you and Matthew are not fault , Robert still disappointed with both of you. In addition last time misunderstanding between Robert and you has not solved yet. New added again tonight. This time both of you should clear misunderstanding. We missed our old times." Andrea suggested.
"Yeah, I understand. I'll talk to Robert about previous matter and then tonight's matter. We should go our bedroom now. It's already 1:00 am , otherwise our darlings will start to look for us. Look, they are already here." Avery said with a happy tone.
Hearing Avery's words , rest of ladies looked over and saw their other half. They also had an excited look over their face. When they came to their wife's side , they shared happy news. Because of banquet butler Jerry Lu informed his father(butler Shawn Lu) late at night. Robert's father and uncles did get the news about invitation after call was ended. Everyone became happy and could understand Robert's point of view. Thus they decided that they would take their parents Robert's house secretly. Otherwise troubles would follow them.
After discussion , they went to their bedroom. As for younger generation , they got notifications about house party at Robert's house. This way Henry and Regina's team would not disturb them. In addition everyone was eager to know their new family member , specially girls and ladies. They wanted to slap those spoiled , arrogant and fake ladies with the help of their future sister-in-law.
