Zoey's POV:
Power. Money. Perfection. All traits described my lovely boss-to-be. There was something intriguing about him, anyways. He had a past that no one knew about. But, I was an exception. I was on a deadly mission.
And then, I applied as his Personal assistant to fulfill my bucket list. I had a limited time to work under his company. I had a huge role to play. I was about walking into his life with a dangerous game to play.
I was irresistible, worth breathtaking, too hot to handle. I bet he wouldn't be in the position to resist my temptation. He was gonna be my prey in the meantime. I came to explore his life in the best of my interest.
His power was at the tip of my fingers, ready to be snapped off in the twinkle of an eye. No one dared mess with Zoey, I twitched my lips as I clicked my heels softly through the revolving entrance door of GARCIA'S DUDS.

I was about ringing his office doorbell when I heard a loud yell from the inside. I couldn't help it but stop to listen. It sounded more like a heated argument, not gonna lie. I leaned my ear slightly against his door. I didn't intend to eavesdrop but I was damn curious.
"How long will the position of a new personal assistant remain vacant, Evelyn?", I heard him scream thunderously. I guessed he was referring to one of his workers. Certainly.
The assumed worker whimpered in an intimidated tone. "I'm sorry, boss. But, you've literally turned down everyone that applied for the job", she cried.
That was the most interesting thing I heard. My heartbeat skipped on hearing him bang his desk loudly. "Shut the fuck up! Are you the one to decide what I ought not to do?".
"I... I will get someone professional for you, boss", she stammered tremendously. Actually, there was no need. It turned out to be that I arrived here at the right time. I was the professional one; I was the right pick for the job.
It was gonna fit my mission more than perfectly and build a burning flame between my boss and I. He was gonna be head over heels on my stunning appearance. With that, I was certain to easily lure him into my deadly trap. Maybe then, I'll be the boss of my own games and nothing will change that. I marked my words.
"I will be giving you the grace till this week ending, else. Now, get your damn ass outta my office!", he ordered. Woah! My jawbones dropped on hearing him squel that. It was only gonna take a whole lot of courage to put him in place. The courage that only I possessed.
Immediately, I switched to a different position on hearing her footsteps approach the door. She gasped in terror as she was finally out, looking pale and calm. We exchanged weird glances without saying a word.
She looked a bit confused, but not to worry, she was gonna get familiar with seeing me around sooner. She walked herself down to the elevator room and vanished. I eased myself up and twisted the door knob gently. I was prepared to face my soon to be boss.
