Capítulo 1: Cruel fate
Elizabeth's stomach felt uneasy as she walked down the hall. Her father requested her to the thrown room, he never did that unless it was bad news. She walked into the large room. Her father sat in he's large red and gold chair, with her mother in a smaller version of the chair next to him.
"Y-you summoned me father?" Elizabeth bowed and waited for her father to speak.
"I did. I have great news for you my dear." Elizabeth rose her head in delight. Oh thank goodness it was good news!
"We have arranged for you to marry a man from the east kingdom!" Elizabeth's smile quickly vanished from her face.
"W-What?"
"We have arranged for you to be married." Elizabeth saw her mother look away in guilt. Her father stared at Elizabeth wanting a response. Her voice was low and angry.
"N-no."
"Wonderful I'm glad you under-, no?"
"I said NO father!" Elizabeth shook as she heard her yell. A few guards stopped at looked at her.
"How dare you speak to me like that young lady! Go to your room!" Her fathers voice boomed across the large room, making a small eco. Elizabeth's hands closed into fists as she stormed off to her room, slamming her door after entering it. She walked to her window and looked at the setting sun. That night was a special one. The night of the star dragon. Dragons would fly threw the sky's to the dragon trainers areas for rest. They always blew fire, filling the air with light and with warmth, creating beautiful art. This night only came around every other year, and Elizabeth never got to see it up close, but tonight was gonna be different. She grabbed a bag under her bed, in it was water, some snacks, a blanket, a bag of gold coins, and a cloak. Elizabeth changed into a smaller dress with less ribbon and then the cloak. She tied her large curtains together and to her bed, then carefully she was able to climb down her large castle wall.
'Man that was harder than I thought' Elizabeth thought as she got to the ground. Elizabeth quietly tiptoed past the guards into the woods. She learned there was a short cut to the top of the mountain threw the woods. It took Elizabeth almost an hour to get to the top, but it was worth it to feel that great breeze. There was only five minutes till the dragons would come, it was so hard to find a spot to sit. Elizabeth wondered around, moving so she wouldn't get hit by running kids. The sky was already full of stars, shining bright in the darkness. The light distracted Elizabeth that she didn't see the person she ran into. Elizabeth felt her self fall backwards before a hand grabbed her waist.
"Hey, you ok?"
