"Bang!" Accompanied by an explosion, a flash of white light flashed, and Charlotte Cooper looked at everything that suddenly disappeared in front of her, tears silently falling. Her legs gave out, and she fainted.
A few hours later, in the Deluxe Hospital Ward, there was no sound at all. If it weren't for the smell of disinfectant filling everyone's nostrils, and the various bandages and needle marks on everyone's bodies, perhaps everyone would forget that there had ever been a tragedy.
Susan Hawk sat by the hospital bed, looking at the photos of Ethan Carter on her phone, and couldn't help but burst into tears. She looked over those photos countless times these past few hours. Every time she looked at them, her heart ached once more.
"Susan, why are you crying?" The person on the bed asked, having woken up unexpectedly. Their gaze was filled with confusion and unknown fear. "Why are you crying? Is it because of Ethan? Was he bullying you again? I'll teach him a lesson for you!"
