Charlotte Cooper packed her things, took a glance at the bed where she had been lying for a long time, and turned around to leave.

Just as she opened the door, she bumped into a nurse.

"Oh! Is that you, Sister Charlotte? Is it time for you to be discharged from the hospital?"

Charlotte nodded her head and gave a faint smile. The nurse was a lively young lady who had been assigned specifically to take care of her ward.

The nurse winked at her and said in a teasing tone, "Sister Charlotte, you're really lucky to have such a handsome and loving husband! He is waiting for you downstairs!"

"Henry Russel?" Charlotte was taken aback.

Charlotte was somewhat puzzled and peered out of the window. She saw Henry leaning against a Commercial Mercedes, his long legs crossed, his expression indifferent, exuding a sense of aloofness that kept others at bay.

She couldn't help but smile faintly, then dashed downstairs to meet Henry.
