Capítulo 46: Part 2: Chapter 46: In the air

Sonia stared at the blond man. Her muddled mind was grateful for the two that did their best to get her to safety. She winced when they became airborne and fell on the hard bench. The backseat not built for comfort. While awake she prayed fervently for their escape. She thought about Tau and what they shared.

"Thanks for your protection, dear Tau," she whispered. A tear found its way into the blanket.

"Thank you, Lord. Thank you for getting us out." Then she smiled slowly. Just when she thought all hope was gone, hope arrived in two men and she trusted them with her life.

The man with the rifle once again checked his watch.

"Speed up. We are running out of time!" She closed her eyes and just rolled with the jeep's movement, holding on to the seat.
