Capítulo 19: The dinner date
Upon their arrival at the dining table, the bar attendant immediately stood up from the sofa, noticing their presence.
He then reached out to take Kiara's hand in his, leading her to the dining table and pulling out a chair for her.
Erica watched the interaction between the two of them with amusement, serving them the meal while shaking her head in disbelief.
As they continued eating, Erica noticed Kiara flirting with the bar attendant and couldn't help but wonder how she was so good at it.
She interrupted their moment by clearing her throat, causing Kiara to become shy and avert her eyes.
Erica then whispered into the bar attendant's ear, teasing him about the lipstick on his lips.
Kiara saw the exchange between Erica and the bar attendant and smiled, unaware that Erica was keeping a close watch on her.
After a brief period of silence, Kiara excused herself from the dining table, leaving the bar attendant and Erica behind.
The bar attendant expressed concern to Erica that Kiara might be angry with him, but Erica reassured him that everything was fine.
After finishing their meal, the bar attendant announced that he had to leave and Erica led him to the door.
As he left, Erica watched him closely and noticed a car parked outside Kiara's house, with a driver waiting to pick him up.
She also saw the driver bowing down to him showing some respect.
This could tell the bar attendant isn't what he claim he is.
"Don't tell me that car parked outside is his" Erica whispered to her as soon as the car drove out of that place.
She became confused but decided not to mention anything to Kiara yet.
She have to get informations about him before concluding on anything...
She became suspicious and wondered if there was more to the bar attendant than he let on.
She decided to investigate further before jumping to any conclusions.
As the car drove away, Erica was left with her thoughts, unsure of what to make of the situation.
She decided to keep her suspicions to herself for the time being and gather more information about the bar attendant before sharing her concerns with Kiara.
