Capítulo 202: A feast for family
Euryale cast a glance about and, seeing everyone eager to attack her, a hint of annoyance finally broke some of her more relaxed demeanour. "Oh, for gods' sake, if I was going to just eat her I would have done so. Will you all stop jumping to the first conclusion you come to? I'm trying to be civil, don't make me change my mind."
Along with the sharp words, vines burst forth and a suffocating aura of pure mana filled the room. She didn't attack, nor did she issue one of her soul-rending commands like before, but the threat was clear. As everyone choked on mana-rich air, she spoke in an even and cold voice.
"I'd like to give you an option and say that we either have an amiable conversation, or you turn around and leave. However the truth is, I'm not in the mood to let all of you enjoy having agency." As she said that, she particularly levelled a glare towards Valentina, yet no one other than Dahlia was spared of her slowly boiling anger.

AngelAsphodel Just a tangential side note this chapter but I thought it was worth mentioning, if only for a bit of insight on myself.
For me, pluralities are a relatively new concept that I only really discovered within the last year. Since then, I've read at least three novels with it as a central theme and debatably more with it as a side theme. And all I've got to say is I love it?
I don't even fully understand why I love it, but there's something about pluralities and having multiple minds coexisting within one body that's just very appealing to me on a conceptual level.
I say all of this, partially just because I want to share, partially as recognition that other people may have never heard of the term before as well, and partially as an admission that some of my future novels will almost certainly have plurality themes.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the concept though!
