Capítulo 4: Chapter 4: Boxer
(Yun-Seo POV)
After last night a rumor spread that Chaerin Baek was dating me and Suhyeon in a weird love-triangle situation.
I don't know. How do people even believe these types of rumors in the first place?
Due to this and also the fact that it spread I had joined Suhyeon, again don't know how. School became a bit annoying so I skipped. Sue me.
Considering I hadn't actually looked around the area I decided to do so today and had a nice time.
There was a internet cafe near my house if I ever wanted to play games, a few stores and a restaurant and a stand that had some amazing tteokbokki and a boxing gym.
How had I never actually heard of any of this?
Considering I boxed in my previous life I decided to head inside and was pleasantly surprised.
For one the sign up was quick, leading me to quickly do so before heading inside and to a locker.
I had my workout clothes which was just a simple black tank top and shorts. Yeah my entire wardrobe is practically black, probably need to buy some more clothes, I'm not short on cash anyway.
Once I was set up, I got a pair of boxing gloves as I noticed it was almost empty, no one was around at this time which left me almost along except for the one other person I saw.
He wore a white tank top and had on white shorts, a stark contrast to me. He had black hair and had on black boxing gloves.
I didn't think much of the guy since I hadn't seen his face, he looked my age or maybe 1 year older but once I did see his face I froze.
I recognized him. How could I not?
The Iron Boxer of the 2nd Generation: Zack Lee.
Why? Why was he here? Sure he was a boxer, but why would he come to Gangbuk? I remembered that Hajun met him, I mean I remember that another guy met Jake at some point later but still.
Seeing how I was staring, he gave me a glance as he spoke in a neutral tone.
"Do you need something?"
As I realized that I had been staring I quickly shook my head. "No, just…"
"Fight me."
The words came out before I realized, and once they did, his eyes held a look of neutrality and something else I couldn't quite place.
"A kid like you should be in school, no? Don't go picking fights you can't win."
"Hey you look barely even a year older than me," I spoke before shaking my head and continuing. "Never mind that, just fight me. Besides we're here right? In a boxing gym, not like I'm picking a fight with you in the street."
As I spoke I had gotten into the ring and stood across from him, letting out a sigh as I knew what I said next could either make him agree or possibly hostile.
"Or did training with the monk completely rid you of your fighting spirit?"
For a moment he froze, his eyes holding a small ounce of surprise before he finally stood. "You know the monk?"
I gave a curt nod, taking a more respectful tone. "Gongseob Ji, don't know if he told you his name but that's who he is. He's a first generation king and used to rule over Daegu for some time."
Zack followed along with noticeable interest, letting out a small hum once I finished. "How do you know this?"
"I know some things… Just a few things here and there, and his fighting style is interesting."
I shook my head before getting into a typical boxing stance, my hands raised near my chin as I looked at Zack.
"So, gonna fight me?"
For a moment he looked, giving me a glance before getting into a similar stance and had a small smile. "Fine, just don't complain.
Even like this, I knew he was holding back, but his aura… The hairs on the back of my neck stood up, and sweat already began forming on my brow.
I'm so fucked.

(Suhyeon POV)

The guy with the big gut, Daeseong Hwang, shouted as he hit me. Yet I barely felt the blows as the card took effect.

Hitting the guy in the gut, he crossed his arms over his gut, his face an expression of pain before I jumped, higher than what should've been possible as I ignored the surprised looks everyone had.

"Dumbass! I'll just grab you and throw you down!" Daeseong shouted before I used the card I got for Yun-Seo.

Landing directly atop of the guy, his face smashed into the ground and even bounced up as I used the card gained for Hajun.
With the momentum I still had from [Fall], I jumped slightly before my body spun.

Slamming my foot into his chin, I continued my spin before landing in a crouch, my right hand on the ground as I soon stood, crisscrossing the straps of my tank top as I looked at the surprised and shocked expressions everyone had.

"Claim Card." I softly muttered.

(3RD POV)
"Huff…huff…" Yun-Seo panted, laying on his back in the boxing ring as Zack stood and leaned over him.
"Finally done?"
"Yeah…for now…" Yun-Seo replied, letting out a soft chuckle as he then hissed in pain, holding himself as he curled into a ball. "Ow…"
Seeing this, Zack let out a small sigh as he reached out. "Come on, get up."
Taking the hand offered to him, Yun-Seo slowly managed to stand as he leaned against the corner of the boxing ring. "Hehe… I'm slowly getting it."
"What are you talking about?" Zack asked, raising a brow as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry again, I was just a bit surprised and raised my strengtha bit."
Yun-Seo only chuckled, making Zack shake his head as he crossed his arms. "Seriously…"
"To think you were the same as those two bastards…"
