After getting my blades ready, I went directly to the dungeon without waiting any longer. Although it is not late, it is not that early, either. So, the dungeon must have already started being filled with adventurers.
And, as expected, the same creepy gaze was still there, following me while I was at the entrance.
Looking at the adventurers trying to get ready for their own day, chatting with their friends, some with relaxed expressions while some others with anxious ones.
Seeing this scene alone in the morning makes me feel like this world I am living in now is not an anime but the real world. The fact that I am seeing how real life in Orario flows and observing the citizens that wouldn't be mentioned in the anime makes me feel alive.
"Did you see the monsters that escaped from the Monster Feria?"
"Yes, I was there."
"People are saying a young black-haired boy defeated a Silverback by himself alone."
"I heard they gave him the nickname Blade Dancer."
"Those are all exaggerations. I bet he also became an adventurer just a month ago, right? Nowadays, people really like to talk nonsense."
"Exaggeration or not? Just say you are jealous, Gors."
"Shut up!"
"Hehe."
While I was entering the dungeon, I heard a group of adventurers talking. Seeing them talking about me made my mouth slightly curved up. Although I don't need the recognition of others, seeing them talking about my achievements still makes my ego flutter.
Anyway, leaving the entrance, I entered the first floor of the dungeon.
A familiar ceiling of blue, a little to no light, welcomed me.
/CREEK/ /SHLINK/
And, of course, following that was a scream of a goblin. Drawing my black sword from its scabbard with a slow moment, I dashed to the goblin.
/SPLURT/
Without wasting any time, I slashed the goblin's head, killing it in just one strike.
Right now, my speed is a lot faster than before. Since my stats progressed quite a lot after the fight I had with Silverback, I am pretty strong for the first four floors right now.
After that, I kept walking. In the dungeon, almost %60 of the time would be wasted on walking. In those times, I just wish there was a system like a bonfire in it. That would be pretty cool…
While walking, I encountered some goblins and kobolds, but it didn't take any effort to beat them.
Just like that, I reached the second floor. On the staircase to the second floor, I saw some young adventurers trying to catch their breaths which made me think about what kind of experience Bell would have in the dungeon. But worrying about that won't do me any good, so I decided to leave it for the future myself.
Since I wasn't even tired slightest, without waiting for any second, I entered the second floor. There are still a lot of people, so I won't use my blades for now since that might gather a lot of attention on me.
So with my one sword drawn from its scabbard, I started walking deeper.
/THUD/ /BOOM/ /SWOOSH/
Sensing an attack coming from above, I immediately dashed sideways to dodge it.
'Annoying. Just die already.'
Thinking that I dashed to the Dungeon Lizard. With a crescent slash, I severed the monster in two from its mouth, destroying its magic stone in the process.
/PUSH/
And with the sound of disappearing, the monster was removed from existence. Although I don't like wasting money, it is very hard to predict where the magic stone is, so from time to time, incidents like this occur.
After that, I kept walking while encountering with groups of three from time to time. It seems our miss dungeon is on a good mood today, since she is not sending a horde of monsters to me
/PIERCE/ /THUD/
Killing the last Kobold of the group of four, I picked up their stones and reached the staircase to the third floor.
Entering in without waiting, I started picking up the speed since I had pretty much adjusted my strength.
Butchering every monster that came on my way at a fast pace, I reached the fourth floor.
Every time I go to the staircase of the fourth floor, I remember the life-threatening mistake I made, which makes me more careful from this point on.
It reminds me of the fact that I should never get ahead of myself.
Just like that, I reached the fourth floor. While looking around to observe if there were a lot of people, I confirmed that was not the case.
'I can bring out my blades then.'
Thinking that I activated my magic and started making my blades float.
'Ah, it finally feels like I am moving my rib without any resistance at all.'
Since, in the beginning, my stats were not that high, I was not able to move all my blades at the same time without difficulties. While fighting with Silverback, I knew I wouldn't last for a long time, so I used all of them at the same time, not caring about my mental reserves. And, since it was a life crisis with the effects of adrenaline, I hadn't felt the obstructing feeling.
However, now my magic stat is raised to B, I am pretty sure I can handle more blades right now, albeit five of them are already enough for the time being.
Anyway, drawing my blades and making them float, I started diving.
/SPLURT/ /SPLURT/ /SPLURT/ /THUD/ /THUD/ /THUD/
When I encountered any monster, without even moving closer, I just slashed their heads with my hand movements from a distance.
After that, I kept walking while fighting the monsters on the way. Although I encountered some adventurers on the way, most of them were busy, and the other ones didn't care about me, so it was a pretty comfortable dive.
Reaching the fifth-floor staircase, I entered the floor, not stopping. Although constantly using my magic made me a bit tired, it was not to the extent of needing to take a rest.
Another familiar ceiling with brown color with some green points of light appearing above welcomed me.
From the fifth floor to the seventh floor, the ceiling of the dungeon is brown, and new types of monsters start to appear.
/SWOOSH/ /CLANK/
And the first monster who welcomed me was our newbie killer, 'War Shadow.' With a fast speed, it attacked me from my back with its claws.
But of course, venturing into these floors for one month made me already get used to their attacks.
Blocking the War Shadow's attack by concentrating my blades on my back, making them look like a shield; with my white sword in my hand, I slashed its head while turning my body to the backside.
/THUD/
After picking up its magic stone and putting it in my inventory, I kept walking.
And the second time I encountered a monster was, of course, in a group.
/SWOOSH/ /SWOOSH/ /BOLT/
The moment I entered their point of view, two attacks of tongues pierced the place I was standing.
'Another disgusting monster. I hate frog shooters, just disappear.'
Since their salvia smells really bad, I don't like fighting with Frog Shooters.
/DASH/ /DASH/
Dashing with a zigzag motion, I directed my blades to the eye of the Frog Shooter on my right while at the same time slashing the belly of the left one with both my swords.
/SPLURT/ /SPLURT/ /SLASH/
With blood spurting from their wounds, both of them died at the same time.
/THUD/ /THUD/
And fell to the ground with a loud noise.
/SWOOSH/ /DASH/ /SLASH/ /SPLURT/
After that, I dodged the tongue of the last one and dashed to him. Getting closer to its head, I pierced its only eye with both my swords killing it instantly.
Just like that, I kept descending…
Here is the chapter.
