According to the plot arrangement of "Lone Warrior," the audience or the players are to gradually uncover the truth through a process of unraveling and peeling, like drawing threads from a cocoon.
The protagonist works with the police to research a murder case, analyze elements of the crime scene to reconstruct the fighting process, and through a profile of the criminal, identify the suspect Feng Shu, and then progressively locate his residence in Jinghai, and further track down his old home in a small county town.
In Feng Shu's small hometown, by talking with the villagers, one learns about Feng Shu's previous image, and at that point, a great confusion arises: How could such a simple and honest person turn into a Martial Madman and a murderer?
Latter on as the investigation deepens, various flashbacks keep emerging, offering a glimpse into Feng Shu's inner world, and eventually the two vastly different images merge completely, culminating in the final decisive battle.
