Capítulo 25: Chapter 25: Provocation
Triton did not respond, but he knew that the Vampire Lord was right.
This person was a Calamity level creature who did not belong to this world. He was a part of another world that had also become a part of God's Domain.
No one knew why he came to this world, but a lot of things had changed since then.
There were 299 Batches of Players created in the last 299 years. However, most of those batches were dead.
Two of those batches were killed by the person in front of him.
His wife was also a Player in one of those batches.
Most people wondered why the Streamers did not attack the Vampire City. But only a few remembered that it was because they did not want to lose more people.
Even if they were able to destroy the Vampire City, so what? They had to reserve their strength for much bigger problems. That's why the status quo was maintained with this city.
The Vampire Lord did not leave this city, and the Streamers did not enter. That was the rule. If it was not for the Tutorial, even Triton would not have been able to enter.
He hated the Vampire Lord the most. Every time he looked at the Vampire Lord, he was reminded of his wife who had died at his hands.
He wanted to kill this person. But he knew he was not strong enough. He was weak... Even if he did not want to believe it, he knew it was the case.

The Vampire Lord took another sip of the blood from the crystal glass, amused by Triton's restraint.

Even Triton could see that the Vampire Lord was intentionally taunting him, trying to get him to attack.
If he did that, all restrictions were going to be removed in the Tutorial. The 300th batch was going to be completely wiped. It was what the Vampire Lord wanted.
Even if he wanted to do it, he did not want to make humanity lose so much. These youngsters were the future of humanity.
Every 100th batch was special. And the 300th batch was most special from what he had heard. He could not become the biggest villain of humanity by having them all die.
"You see, Triton, I have played this game for centuries. I know how it works. I know the rules, and I know how to manipulate them to my advantage. But you people are still so naive."
"Let me remind you one thing. Once earth joined the God's Domain, there was no escape. All the hope, everything that you have now... It is all for nothing. Because, urgh!"
The Vampire Lord stopped mid sentence, groaning in pain that came straight from his soul.
He sighed deeply.
"It seems I have said too much. If I said more, it would not be good for me. But I do look forward to the day you all find out... The despair... I wonder what kind of face you will make, if you can even live that long..."
Triton did not understand what the Vampire Lord was talking about. He did not care either. Everything this person said was for his own benefit.
"I don't know how long I can live. But I do promise you one thing," said Triton.
"I will be the one to kill you. Before that day, I will not die. Even if death comes for me, I will borrow one last day just to kill you!"
"It is good to have dreams. But it is useless to have fantasies."
"Even if this is a fantasy of mind, it is one that I will make a reality!"
"In that case, I look forward to the day."
The Vampire Lord took another sip of blood.
He reached out his hand, releasing the empty crystal glass that fell off the roof, slowly approaching the ground.
As it shattered into countless pieces, he turned his gaze towards the horizon.

Kim Seojin expertly traced the line of guidance, swiftly killing yet another Vampire.
He knew that striking at their chest was useless. The only surefire way to eliminate a Beginner Vampire was to sever their head. With each precise strike, he skillfully beheaded the bloodthirsty creatures.
"That makes fifty," Seojin declared, his voice filled with a mix of pride and weariness.
As he turned his gaze towards Lee Taehyung in the distance, Seojin couldn't help but notice the lifeless bodies of over a hundred Vampires.
Their heads remained intact, but they all shared the same fate. They were dead.
"I'm not jealous of his ability," Seojin repeated, though deep inside he acknowledged the truth.
While Seojin relied on decapitation to kill the Vampires, Lee Taehyung possessed the extraordinary power to obliterate their souls with a mere touch.
"Can't you effortlessly eliminate even the stronger Vampires? All you need is a single touch. That's truly an overpowering ability," Seojin remarked.
"The balance of this world is really broken. You seem even stronger than Triton."
Closing the distance between them, Seojin joined Lee Taehyung, knowing that for now, they had successfully cleared their path of danger.
"That is not the case. I can only kill the ones with weaker souls. My ability is still limited to my strength. If a stronger Vampire comes, it won't affect them."
"Similarly, it can't affect someone like Triton. At least not the way it is now."
"Anyway, we should get going. More Vampires will be coming."
Their aim wasn't to kill the Vampires. It was to reach the centre of the city. But the City was so big, that it was taking too long.
Even worse was the fact that the closer they came, the more they came across Vampires.
