Capítulo 393: The Test (1)

The Montgomeray had a secret residence outside of Starhorn and near the Courtenay's land. Lev gave him a map, and it was where Kyran was supposed to meet them.

Stella also went with him. Apparently, the Queen of the Faes asked her to come.

As they made their way there, Stella insisted to walk at the back since Kyran had the map.

She had a point.

And Kyran would have accepted her reasoning without thinking too much of it if the 'curveball' did not happen.

But the truth of the matter was that it did happen and Kyran knew she did not want him to walk behind her because she was feeling extremely self-conscious right now.

"You don't have to answer this confession. I just want you to know how I feel, so when you are with her, you'll think of me."

'Is what she said...' Kyran thought, with a slight frown.

Their conversation ended on that note.
