Capítulo 6: Among The Black Snow And The Inferno
Meanwhile, Jacob and Victor, who had arrived at the Eclipsia mountain range, circled the area for hours in search of the location where the Purgatorite metal ore was thought to be mined.
Eventually, they found a large cave covered in thick ice walls.
Convinced that it was the place they were looking for, Jacob and Victor worked together to break down the ice wall covering the mouth of the cave.
After struggling to break down the ice wall covering the mouth of the Cave, Jacob once again asked about Victor's readiness.
"Victor? Are you sure you want to go inside there with me?", Jacob asked.

A few feet before they got to the mining point, there was a huge roar.
Suddenly they stopped their steps and looked around them, from a large cavity in the cave wall a large monster resembling an adult bear with half a body resembling a dragon was staring at them with a furious face.
The monster quickly jumped down and blocked their path, Victor was trembling with fear as he stared at the beast in front of him.
"Victor! Be careful!" Jacob said.
Both of them immediately prepared their respective weapons to face the beast, Victor immediately prepared with his arrows, Jacob also drew his two swords.
Victor immediately shot several arrows to attack the monster, strangely the monster who realized the coming attack did not seem the least bit afraid or trying to avoid.
Jacob, who sensed an oddity in the monster, refrained from approaching the creature.
And how both of them were surprised when they saw all the arrows that Victor shot were destroyed by fire very quickly before they managed to touch the creature's body.
"What the...?! How is that possible?!" said Victor who was amazed after seeing the creature's power.
"It's Gallion! The legend is true!" Jacob said to Victor.
"What is that thing?" asked Victor who was very astonished.
"Victor! As much as possible keep your distance from this creature, its body emits a very powerful heat, don't get too close because it can easily burn anything nearby, as much as possible we must try to stay away and avoid it! I will find a way to take it down!", Jacob explained loudly.
Gallion roared again and immediately attacked them with his deadly snarl, but fortunately they managed to avoid the attack.
Victor, who felt confused about how to defeat a monster that was impossible to even touch, could only dodge and dodge every brutal attack launched by the creature.
Meanwhile, Jacob continued to observe and look for weaknesses from Gallion while trying to avoid his brutal attacks on the two of them.
After a long time trying to survive only by avoiding attacks, the exhausted Victor was increasingly in danger.
While trying to dodge Victor fell down so Gallion immediately targeted him as a target.
Jacob, who realized this, swiftly blocked Gallion who was about to pounce on Victor by turning his back on the boy's body, the heat emanating from the creature's body managed to melt almost half of the tip of one of the swords that Jacob was about to draw.
"No! Nooooooooo...!" Victor shouted hysterically seeing Jacob who was willing to sacrifice himself to protect him.
However, Gallion's body was suddenly knocked away from them by a large chunk of black ice that hit his body hard.
Jacob and Victor, who were surprised, looked in the direction from which the attack came and unexpectedly Fendragnir, the guardian of the forbidden forest, was also in that place.
Gallion, who immediately got up, looked at Fendragnir with a furious look in his eyes, roared fiercely and then ran to counterattack Fendragnir.
Fendragnir did not remain silent, as he immediately spouted a huge wave of black ice that was as powerful as a blizzard so that Gallion was knocked back and froze several parts of his body along with almost part of the cave wall.
As a result of Fendragnir's attack, the veil of heat surrounding Gallion's body slowly began to weaken and eventually disappeared completely.
Jacob, who was beginning to discover the weakness of his opponent, did not waste his chance to launch a final attack.
"Victor! Now!", Jacob ordered Victor.
Victor fired his arrows in rapid succession, hitting the bull's-eye and knocking Gallion to the ground.
When the creature tried to get back up Jacob, who had jumped into the air at full power, slashed his one remaining sword into Gallion's body, successfully giving the creature a serious face and head wound which finally forced him to retreat from the battle.
With the remaining power he still had Gallion jumped into the large cavity in the cave wall where he had appeared earlier and fled from the fight.
Fendragnir stared intently at Victor and then walked over to him, Jacob who was worried immediately ran towards them and then turned his back on Victor's body.
At first he thought that Fendragnir would attack them too but the opposite was true.
Fendragnir shoved his head into Jacob's body who continued to block him as if asking him to get out of the way and wanted to come face to face with Victor up close.
Fendragnir continued to push his head against Jacob who was reluctant to move away, Victor, who was trembling, tried to get up the courage to stick his hand out from behind Jacob to touch the creature.
Fendragnir unexpectedly looked very happy when Victor's hand rubbed his head.
"What..???!!! No way !",Jacob said surprisely.
Suddenly it made Jacob feel incredulous about what he had just seen.
"Thanks for your help buddy, but i'm sorry, to be honest I'm still very afraid of you...", Victor said to Fendragnir.
Not long after, Fendragnir ran away leaving them both there.
"Hey ?! How did you tame that beast?", Jacob asked in surprise.
"I don't know exactly about that... I don't know either.", replied Victor who was equally astonished.
And without wasting any more time, the two of them immediately rushed to the mining point to find purgatorite which was their main goal at that time.
