Capítulo 56: The Doctor

Two months and one week after Gabriel disappeared…

Megan was nervous. Today was a big day and she was terrified. She was leaving the house today for the first time since the hotel incident. She hadn't wanted to leave at all but there were two things she absolutely couldn't miss today.

Megan had tried to come up with reasons she didn't need her first location today and couldn't. Then she had tried to come up with some excuse that would make it okay to miss the main event and just couldn't justify it to herself.

Her first doctor appointment and ultrasound were this morning. She had scheduled it for today so she would only have to leave the house once for a long while. Today was Angelina and Caden's wedding. If she missed that she might as well hand in her best friend card. Angie was already mad as hell that Megan had missed all the pre-wedding events and had then refused to let Angelina come up to the house.
