"so ladies and gentlemen let's see the nominations for the album of the year,and they are:",the host spoke and my heart started beating so faster that it would come out any time.
then they showed the nominees on the big screen with their songs playing in background.

"Ariana grande...
"justin bieber
"shawn Mendes and Camila cabello....
"last but not least y/n....",
"and the winner is....",I was sitting with Alex my bestie we've been friends since I started my career and he is also a good singer but more of a good composer.
but the moment he was going to announce I was too nervous as I was nominated with such great artists who have been my inspiration all these years.
"so guys any guesses?????",the host asked, and I was feeling can't he just reveal it fucking suspense and all.😫😫
"and the award goes to...y/n my favourite....babe come up fast",and the moment I heard it I felt like I was at the top of the world there could be no one who will be as happy as me.after all I worked for it for last 6 years and now finally 2033 and Grammy's is mine wooohoooo🍾🍾🤩🤩🤑😎😎👑👑.this was all going on in my head and Alex shook me by my shoulder. signalling me to standup and rush towards the stage.
I stood up hugged him and as I turned back I saw my biggest and the only role model for all these years sitting just behind us ofcourse Mr kim taehyung and BTS . He was clapping for me ☺☺☺😚.
ok no more dreaming let's go I smiled at him and
went up on the stage.
(on the podium)
"good evening everyone...first of all I am really honoured to be sharing the nominations with such great artists who themselves have been my inspiration for all these years, and I am really very thankful to be receiving this award...finally ",I said and sighed
"and thank you all my fans for loving me and supporting me because without you guys this was impossible, I love you all,also thank you arijit sir for motivating me ,and Rahman sir for believing in me at times when I myself was confused. and thanks each and every singer and artist who inspired me,and influenced me in a direct/indirect way.
also thank you our staff and group members for always helping us despite of the fact that how exhausted you guys were.
Thank you my manager and my sister for always supporting me for being by my side when nobody was.
and Also my bestie Alex for always helping me like a brother.
and lastly thank you mom and dad for understanding me and letting me pursue my happiness and passion.
I still remember when I resigned from two companies correspondingly and told her I will never be able to do it and engineering is just not my thing she scolded me,also because she didn't knew for a long time that I started singing as a playback singer and she thought I was a failure who can't do anything in her life and I replied her that mom someone said that a fish can't fly and a butterfly can't swim but they are good at what they do.
and I guess I have also done a nice job, atleast better than what I would have done as an engineer. thank you guys and love you,also I promise you I will keep inspiring you with my new songs in the future ,thank you. ",
I said took my momento and walked down the stage.
Alex waited stood up and hugged me. and we started talking again.
"wow congrats miss y/n ,for receiving this award ",he said and offering his hand for handshake.
"thank you so much Mr Alex brown for your appreciation ",I said while laughing.
"oh it's totally fine...😂😂😂😂",he said and started laughing.
"so what next...?",Alex asked. the program is still going on and we are busy talking.
"next as in....",I asked.
"like what is your future plan....have you planned anything...?",Alex asked.
"plan is that there is no plan...I think maybe I want to try something new or just travel for a while and release the sequel of my last novel ",I said.
"Not like that I mean .....what about dating and your personal life....?",He asked.
"umm...don't know never thought about it",I said.
"why ...don't you like anyone?",he asked.
"I ... ",before I could say something he started again.
"yup I remember you never even had a boyfriend....why though?",he asked.
"Maybe never found someone interesting...",I said.
"interesting...don't lie okay. tell me if you already have someone in mind if not you can meet some of my bachelor friends ",he said and at this I was really frustrated because my mom and all my relatives have been eating my head on this topic because in India a woman who is already 28 and not married is a disaster.
"look I don't want to get married to a random person who I don't even love ,also can you stop being a matchmaker, I don't understand why is it so important to get married ",I said in a angry and frustrated tone.
"what happened why are you so angry suddenly.....I just said it casually ",he said. 🙄🙄
"sorry actually my parents and relatives are all just being a matchmaker you don't know how frustrated I am.....even last time when I went back home on diwali after cancelling my busy schedule my mom called over her friend's son and fixed a date", I said.
"and what happened....?",alex asked.
"what could have happened that person wasted half an hour fanboying over me and then told me where he works what are his future plans and that I don't know how much he likes me.....you know those 2 hours of my life were the most torturous one....I wish that there could have been a terrorist attack and they killed me.
but after some time he confessed that he already loves someone so will not be able to marry me like I want to.you don't know how angry I was like I cancelled my schedule just because I wanted to spend time with my family and what my mother did?
I went back for them not for that bloody chatterbox " ,I said angrily.
"well done....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣",and he started laughing which annoyed me even more.
"so basically it was more like his personal fan sign event ",He said and again started laughing.
"wait by any chance did he asked for your autograph or not?.....🤨😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣?",Alex asked mocking at me.
"Stop it okay or I will kill you....😠😠😠😠😡",I said angrily.
"ofcourse you can kill me but it is too funny for me to handle...like you went on a blind date with a fanboy of yours and got rejected 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆....",alex said and again started laughing so hard that he caught everybody's attention.
and I glared at him angrily.
"will you please stop it ?????",I asked him angrily.
"ok....sorry.🤭🤭🤭🤫🤫🤫😅😅",he said trying to control his laughter.
(BTS pov)
"I wished that we won this award today....aah", J-hope said.
"doesn't matter wasn't it ours 3 years ago ",namjoon said comforting him.
"yeah...we can take it next time",Jin said.
"but namjoon hyung who is that girl who won the award ?",Jungkook asked.
"some y/n from India.... I guess ",jimin said.
"yeah y/n who is she...",jungkook asked again.
"she is a famous singer,composer and songwriter from India but she've been living in America for 7-8 years now",namjoon said.
"you know her???.....I heard her name for the first time ",jungkook said.
"ofcourse we know her.....and let me tell you ,listen to her compositions they are amazing I like it",taehyung said.
"you all know her how come I don't???",jungkook said again zoning out.
"because you are too busy maybe ",jin said teasing their maknae.
they were talking when jimin heard Alex and y/n's conversation as he was sitting right behind Alex and he was too loud that everybody could hear him.
and jimin also started laughing.
"what happened why are you laughing. ....?" ,Suga asked him .all the members looked at him dumbfoundedly.
he told them what he heard because they were talking in Korean nobody could understand them.
"gosh literally...",Jim said and his iconic laugh was heard in a few seconds
everybody started laughing after seeing jin like that.

(after the award ceremony was over and bts changed their outfits back to normal after their performance they were about leave when someone knocked on their green room's door)
"Hy ....",he said coming in.
"hy...",namjoon said again doing his job as a leader .
then they shook hands with each other and Alex praised them and told them that he liked their performance very much.
they talked and then Alex said.
"actually I wanted to ask for a favour ",
"yes.....what is it ",namjoon asked smiling .
