Capítulo 26: JJK Has Only 5 Chapters Left???

______________________________________________________________

After the intense confrontation with Mahito, Yuji finds Nanami in a quiet spot outside, where the sun is setting. The atmosphere is reflective, and Yuji approaches with a determined expression.

"Nanami-sensei," Yuji begins, his voice earnest, "I want to help you next time you go after Mahito. I know I'm still a student, but I'm ready to do whatever it takes."

Nanami regards Yuji with a measured gaze, his expression calm but firm. "Yuji," he replies, "you're still a child in many ways, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. You have potential, but you shouldn't be put in a position where you have to kill. It's not something I want for you right now."

He pauses, assessing Yuji's resolve. "For now, I need you to focus on monitoring Junpei. We need to understand his situation better, and you must keep an eye on him. Your involvement is valuable, but not in direct combat just yet."

Yuji nods, understanding the gravity of Nanami's words. "I'll do my best. I'll keep a close watch on Junpei and make sure he's safe."

Nanami gives a reassuring nod. "Good. Continue to grow and train. Your time will come, but for now, we have to be strategic about how we use our resources."

Back at his home, Junpei is alone in the aftermath of his mother's death. The weight of his grief is palpable as he stands in her closet, his mind racing with anger and confusion. He grabs the first black pair of clothes he finds, a somber choice that reflects his emotional state.

As he holds the clothes, his thoughts drift back to Mahito's words. Mahito had explained that the cursed object, a finger, attracted curses and that someone had likely paid to have Junpei and his mother targeted. The notion that someone with resources and resentment was behind the attack leaves Junpei feeling even more isolated and betrayed.

Mahito's words echo in his mind: "Is there anyone with time and money who resents you?" The question hangs heavy, fueling his anger and resolve.

Determined, Junpei dressed in black clothes, symbolizing his shift towards a darker path. He looks around his home, now filled with painful memories, and steels himself for the challenges ahead. His next steps are uncertain, but he is resolved to seek answers and exact his form of justice.1

Junpei arrives at his school just as Shota Ito is being recognized at an award ceremony. The school is abuzz with excitement, and Junpei, cloaked in his dark attire, stands out against the festive backdrop. His eyes, however, are focused and distant, not celebrating the achievements around him but rather contemplating the plan he has been drawn into.

From the roof of a nearby building, Mahito and Geto watch the scene unfold below. Mahito's expression is one of dark amusement as he observes the ceremony, his gaze occasionally shifting to the cityscape.

"Curtain," Mahito murmurs, using his cursed technique to create a barrier that isolates the area from outside interference. The invisible barrier ensures that no one outside the immediate area can see or enter, setting the stage for the chaos Mahito plans to unleash.

Pseudo-Geto, ever observant, notes the situation with a mix of curiosity and respect. "The sorcerers will discover the barrier soon enough," he comments, his tone acknowledging the inevitability of their intrusion.

Mahito's plan is both intricate and malevolent. He intends to use Junpei as a pawn in a larger scheme to force Yuji into a Binding Vow with Sukuna, thereby granting Sukuna permanent control over Yuji's body. The prospect of manipulating such a powerful curse is both thrilling and disturbing.

Mahito turns his attention back to Geto, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial tone. "You know, I've always thought Jujutsu High is a bit too hasty in its actions. But with Junpei's help, we can force Sukuna's vessel into a Binding Vow. The outcome will be… interesting."

Geto, though initially impressed by Mahito's level-headedness compared to the more reckless Jogo, remains contemplative. "You've managed to remain quite calm and calculated, Mahito. I'm impressed."

As he prepares to leave, Geto decides he wants Jujutsu High to discover the cursed finger he left at Yoshino's house. It's a deliberate move to create more chaos and tension within the jujutsu community. "I'll leave you to your plans," he says, turning to depart.

Mahito, however, is not finished. He implores Geto to stay and witness the unfolding of his plan. "Stay a while longer," Mahito entreats. "I want you to see the demise of these foolish children. It's going to be quite the spectacle."

Geto pauses, considering Mahito's request. He nods slightly, a smirk playing at the corner of his lips. "Very well. I'll stay and watch. Let's see how your plan unfolds."

...

The gym, once filled with the vibrant energy of the award ceremony, is now eerily silent. Everyone except Shota Ito and Sotomura lies unconscious on the floor, their peaceful slumber a stark contrast to the chaos unfolding.

Junpei strides purposefully towards Sotomura, his demeanor cold and unyielding. He reveals the scar on his head, a painful reminder of the trauma he's endured. His eyes then shift to Shota Ito, whose once proud and upright figure is now marred by a disturbing transformation.

"Is it you?" Junpei demands, his voice laced with bitterness. "Did you put that cursed finger in my house?" His words hang heavy in the air, charged with anger and accusation.

Shota Ito, bewildered and fearful, stammers in response. "I... I don't know what you're talking about." His confusion only deepens as dark, ominous markings begin to spread across half of his body, a physical manifestation of the cursed energy at play.

Without hesitation, Junpei launches himself at Shota, delivering a brutal blow that sends him crashing to the ground. The gym echoes with the sounds of the assault as Junpei relentlessly beats Shota, his rage and frustration pouring out in each punishing strike.

"You're going to die anyway," Junpei snarls, his voice cold and devoid of empathy. "Your past crimes... they've all led to this moment." Despite Shota's desperate apologies and pleas for forgiveness, Junpei remains unmoved, his heart hardened against the man he blames for his suffering.

Just as Junpei is about to deliver another blow, the gym doors burst open, and Yuji Sakuna rushes in. His eyes widen in horror as he takes in the scene before him—Junpei's ferocious attack on Shota, the unconscious figures scattered across the floor.

"Junpei! What the hell are you doing?" Yuji's voice is filled with shock and disbelief. The sight of his friend caught in such violence is almost too much to bear.

Junpei's head snaps around at the sound of Yuji's voice. His eyes, filled with a mix of anger and determination, lock onto Yuji. "Stay out of this!" Junpei snaps, his tone leaving no room for argument. "This doesn't concern you!"

Yuji's heart races as he processes Junpei's words. He's torn between stopping the brutal assault and understanding the deeper motivations driving his friend. The situation has escalated beyond his worst fears, and the line between friend and foe is now painfully blurred.
