He sat on the toilet seat of his bathroom in his Hostel room and stared at the Phone/Scroll given to him by the Company.
To be specific, he was looking at the images of Neopolitan, Emerald Sustrai and Cinder Fall.
The three main female antagonists of the first few seasons of RWBY.
To be fair, Neo and Emerald were mostly sidekicks with Cinder being the one who ran the show. But right now, all three women were at the 5th tier, with Cinder probably reaching the 6th tier once she gains the full power of the Fall Maiden.
Something that planned to stop from happening.
He was not under any illusion that he'll be able to stop Salem's plans by taking out all three of these girls. At the best, this will only slow her down a little and force her to change some of her plans but what mattered was the points he'll gain from selling those three.
He checked the app and saw that he currently had 41 points. Since those girls were at 5th tier, they'll each give him 16 points each after he sold them. His total would then be 89.
Then what?
There were a few options that he could choose from.
He wanted to buy the 'Dragon Blood' option because it'll remove the tier cap on Dragon Thrall which only allows him to take his waifus to Tier 7. This way, with enough time and blood, he'll be able to make each of Waifu just as strong if not stronger than Salem.
But Dragon Blood was worth 200 points. And… how the hell would he get 111 more points.
He looked at the other waifus in the app and saw that there were four women who were at the 6th level.
Summer Rose, Raven Branwen, Glynda Goodwitch and Maria Calavera.
Except that Summer Rose was dead and Maria Calavera was blind and old. So that only left him, Raven and Glynda.
If he captured both of them then that'll give him 30 points each. Which left 51 points.
Hmm… capturing Ruby and Weiss will give him 12 points each which will still leave him 27 points short.
He looked at the other potential waifu at Tier 5. And… that was one heck of a long list.
Velvet Scarlatina, Coco Adel, Sienna Khan, Penny Polendina, Winter Schnee, Yang Xiao Long, Blake Belladonna, the Malachite Twins, Vernal, Nora Valkyrie. And then there were a lot of other side characters that he had only seen on the screen once or twice during the Vytal Festival.
So… it looks like he wasn't lacking in options.
Now it became a matter of how he was going to do this.
It wasn't like he could just go to these girls, knock them out and wrap them up with his shroud and sell them. Not without other people finding out.
Then there was also the moral issue about the whole enslavement thing.
To be fair, he won't lose one ounce of sleep over Selling Cinder Fall, Emerald and Neo.
Their machinations almost led to the fall of Vale and led to the death of thousands of innocent people.
Nor will he lose any sleep over Selling Raven Branwen and her sidekick Vernal. Because, you know, Bandits.
So now the question was, how was he going to do this?
In fact, how the heck would he even find these people.
He didn't even know where they were.
He looked over at the various options given to him by the Waifu Catalog and ran across an option that he had skimmed over the first time.
It was called Bounty Tracker.

This app integrates the catalog bounties with the map. Any bounties targets listed in the catalog for the current world can be added as tracked targets.
He frowned and looked over at Target Tracker.

This app adds the ability to track any mobile target you take a picture of, whether it's a person, a vehicle, or anything else capable of moving under its own power, appearing as a stylized but recognizable icon of the tracker target. Basic status information will also be displayed if you tap on the icon. You can hide specific icons and cancel the tracking of a target at any time. You will need to take a new picture of a target once you cancel tracking if you want to resume.
This… this didn't felt like it was worth 10 points. It could be if he used it smartly. Like he could tag a White Fang grunt and follow him to their main base. Or tag Cinder and find out where Salem actually lives.
The problem was that to buy this, he would also have to buy Mapper.
What the heck was that.
He scrolled up a bit and found out.

This app offers maps of the current world you're in, with points of interest annotated. No information that could not be discovered by casually asking around is listed. So while a public-facing organization like the merchant's guild will be annotated, the local thieves' guild will not.
This map will update itself if you discover a point of interest that would normally be left off of a map. You are also able to search for points of interest. Tapping on a point of interest will bring up a short description of it. You can add any number of your own annotations to the descriptions. Descriptions will update in real-time if there are significant changes, such as a store closing.
If you have Rainbow Bridge, you can toggle to any world you have access to at the current time.
Okay. So if he wants to buy the Bounty Tracker then he'll also have to buy the Mapper and Target Tracker.
And all three of them together cost 70 points.

Why is this shit so fucking expensive!?
Buying them would definitely be a huge help to him but it would also set him back by 70 points. And that's not even mentioning the fact that he doesn't even have 70 points right now.
This whole endeavor would've been so much easier if he was an immoral bastard willing to enslave girls left, right and center with no care and regard for said girls and their family.
Hell, Ruby, Weiss, Yang, Blake and Nora were within his stamp's reach.
He sighed. No point in lamenting over things that he isn't willing to do.
He scrolled through the other options in the Catalog.
He knew at a technical level that he could leave this world by investing some points in the catalog. But he didn't know exactly how the whole thing worked.
And it was time to check up on it.

AN: Not much happened in this chapter. But I wanted to write this for people who didn't know a lot about Waifu Catalog and how the whole thing works.
The next chapter is a bit similar but in it, he goes over the options he could use to leave the world, buys a few options and then makes a new plan.
