JAUNE ARC POV
"Jaune, you didn't have to challenge Yang for me you know." Pyrrha said as she made an incision on tree bark with her blade and then waited for the blood red sap to pour out of the trunk and into her jar.
He followed her example and made an incision on the tree. It wasn't a clear cut like hers but it did the job.
"Are you afraid that I'll lose?" he asked with some amusement.
"No I'm not." She replied, a bit too quickly.
He raised an eyebrow and she sighed "Okay, I am a little worried. Yang was the top student in her class in Signal Academy you know. She's leagues better than Cardin Winchester."
Left alone was the fact that he barely won against Cardin.
"Well then. It's a good think that I have a week to prepare myself." He said before he thought of something "Will you be able to finish the new weapon before the end of the week?"
"Yes. In fact, It shouldn't take me more than two days to finish it since the core component has already been completed."
"That's good to hear." He said. The new weapon might increase his chance of winning the fight against Yang.
They sat in silence after that and watched as Ren filled the sap from the tree while Nora kept eating through it.
Another person with a sweet tooth and a black hole inside their stomach.
He got up from the ground and Pyrrha threw him a questioning look.
He raised his pinky finger "Need to relieve myself. I'll right back."
Pyrrha nodded and went back to watching both Ren and Nora.

SKY LARK POV
"Alright boys, gather around." Cardin said and he sighed, wondering what twisted plan Cardin wanted to enact this time.
He knew that Dove was of the same mind as him and wasn't much interested in following Cardin's plans to torment the other students but the boy was too apathetic and cynical to bother going against Cardin and just went with the flow.
As for him, he had no wish to speak up against Cardin because that would mean not only being ostracized by Cardin but also being his next target.
He had suffered enough bullying in his last Academy thank you very much and was not interested in being bullied anymore even if it meant bullying others to keep himself safe.
He went to the center of the clearing and saw Cardin waiting for them with two Jars full of sap (why does he has two jars?) and a cardboard box that was filled with buzzing noise.
Yup. He didn't want to know what was inside that box. At all.
But he had no doubt that Cardin's next plan had something to do with the box and the Jars full of sap so he sat down and waited for their vaunted leader to tell them his amazing plan of the week.
"You guys remember Jaunie boy." Cardin asked.
How could they forget one of their own classmates? Especially when that classmate beat Cardin's arrogant ass in the arena.
"Well, the boy has been getting too uppity these past few days. Thinking himself to the protector of those animals. Like he's some kind of hero." Cardin said with a snort.
Yup, here comes the racist side of Cardin once again.
At times like this, he had to wonder if a Faunus fucked Cardin's mom and sister in front of him or something. Why else would the boy have such a huge hate boner against them.
"So I've decided to teach him a little lesson." Cardin said with a cruel smile. Yup, here it comes.
"This box here is filled with Rapier wasps that I managed to gather last night." Ahh. He did wondered where Cardin went last night. But this was still a bit out of his expectations. He had expected Cardin to go beat up on some kids or kick some puppies but... this line of cruelty is understandable as well.
"They are attracted to the Red Sap. So once we-" A stone flew out of no where, shattering the jars full of sap and covering them with it while knocking down the cardboard box at the same time.
He saw a few wasps slowly walk out of the now open cardboard box before they took in the scent in the air and then flew toward Cardin who was covered in the most sap out of all of them.
Cardin screamed as the first of the Wasps bit him and he cringed in discomfort.
"Ah shit."
Then he got up, turned and ran.
Unfortunately, he wasn't fast enough.
