"You think that humans were the only ones to die in the bombings. Let me tell you. 39 Faunus died in it as well. So it is perfectly clear to us that these White Fang don't really care about their 'brethren'." Blake said, her words bringing quite a bit of attention to their table.
"I'm just saying that if they didn't want to be ostracized then maybe they should have stopped supporting the White Fang when they were just a menace to the society and not… and not these mindless creatures hellbent on destroying everything!" Weiss exclaimed.
"And you think that it's simple like that Weiss 'Schnee'. That you can just snap your fingers and everything will be alright."
"Of course not! But violence is never the answer to anything." Weiss said and he rolled his eyes at her naive words. Was she truly living in the same Remnant as him?
"Umm… Weiss…" Ruby said but was cut off as Blake continued.
"Spoken like a true Schnee."
"Hey! What's that supposed to me?"
"It is not us Faunus who started this fight but you humans who gave us Menagerie as an insult after the Great War and then tried to put all of us in that prison. Do you think we would need to fight for our rights if we weren't treated like animals and discriminated against by everyone?"
"I think that we should shelve this conversation for later." Pyrrha hedged quietly "Being angry with each other and having an argument in the middle of the cafeteria won't help anybody."
"Yeah, Blake. I know you're angry and all about how the Faunus are being treated by everyone after the bombings but arguing with Weiss isn't going to solve anything." Yang said.
Blake didn't look any comforted by their words. If anything, she looked even angrier. His Social and Psychic talent told him that the girl was feeling depressed. Thinking that her own teammates and friends were trying to shut her up even if a part of her knew that it wasn't the truth.
At that moment, a team of older students walked up to their table and his eyes narrowed at the tray one of them was carrying and the hateful smirk on his face.
Gods. Don't let this guy be Cardin 2.0
His hopes were dashed when the dude passed by Blake and 'mistakenly' dropped the tray on Blake.
"Oops. Didn't see you there little kitty." The older boy drawled while his teammates chuckled behind him as if he had just said the funniest joke on Earth "Hey, don't you guys know that you're not allowed to bring your animals to the-"
He didn't get to finish his sentence because of the cornflake bowl now sitting on his head.
"Oops. Didn't see you there." He said with a fake smile as he looked at the older boy in amusement before he turned to that guy's teammates "Hey. Don't you guys know that it's irresponsible to litter trash around here? Why is your team's trash in the cafeteria?"
The older hunter in training calmly removed the bowl from over his head and wiped the milk and cereal from his face before setting him up with a glare "Boy. Do you know who I am?"
He narrowed his eyes as he scrutinized the older boy. Wondering if this was just a third-rate villain trying to act cool or if this boy really has any connections. Not finding anything interesting about him (his armor was of bad quality and his weapon was trash compared to his own), he decided that this was just a 3rd rate villain trying to toot his own horn.
"Oh… I think I recognized you from somewhere. I think your mom and sister mentioned you once." He said "When I was fucking them in your parent's bedroom."
The sound of laughter rang in the cafeteria as the students listening in their conversation laughed.
The older boy's face turned red and he took out his weapon before walking around the table "You're dead meat boy."
The older boy didn't even get to chance to attack him before Gambol Shroud wrapped around his weapon and a moment later, Blake jumped and kicked the guy on the face, sending him flying through a table and then out of the window.
"IT'S PARTY TIME!!!!" Nora cheered and swung her hammer before the older boy's teammates could react, with Yang and Ren quickly joining in the fight.
The Cafeteria soon turned into a battle zone as the smarter kids quickly vacated the area while the stupid kids did the same but not before getting a face full of food.
Credit where it was due, the older team was more experienced and started to pressure team LBVY. Except for Yang who had trained with them and could hold her own.
At that moment, he nodded at his own teammates who stood up and joined the battle.
He had to wonder if this was fate trying to make up for the food fight that never happened in this timeline or if they were just that unlucky.
Ten minutes later, Glynda Goodwitch arrived at the Cafeteria, sent the older team who had been thoroughly beaten up by that point to the Infirmary and gave all of them two weeks of detention under Professor Peach.
Not that he minded. Peach was a sweet woman and a good teacher. Not to mention beautiful.
But then Professor Goodwitch turned to Pyrrha and spoke "And Miss Nikos. You've been summoned to the Headmaster's office. Please follow me."
"Hey, Professor. Why are you taking only her to the Headmaster?" he asked, having a good idea about what was going on even as he played the part of an ignorant team leader "If she's done anything wrong then we'll take punishment as a team."
Professor Goodwitch sighed at that "No, Mr. Arc. Miss Nikos isn't being punished. There's a delicate matter that the Headmaster wants to discuss with her. Please don't worry. She isn't being punished."
He gave a reluctant nod and Pyrrha quickly left with the Professor, making him wonder why Ozpin moved so quickly in this timeline when the Headmaster didn't approach Pyrrha until it was too late in the original timeline.
Well, if anything good came out of this, it was the fact that Weiss and Blake didn't hate each other anymore.
Weiss because she got to see firsthand how badly the Faunus were being treated and Blake because Weiss fought alongside her in the resulting battle.
All in all, the day ended on a high note.
Especially after Pyrrha returned and informed him that the Headmaster talked about making her the next Fall Maiden.
