Capítulo 2: Beginning

I'm a idiot, I am disappointed in myself for my thoughts and actions. After a long time of praising it I realized it went up and down at the same pace no matter what I did. This means that I have been begging to an inanimate object this entire time.

I spent a entire 5 HOURS talking to nothing! I would die from embarrassment if someone new what just happened. The worst part is that it's only at 7%, I don't know the exact amount of time it takes for it to load 1% but is quite long.

To think I would start getting desperate after only an hour, amazing. I still have a long ways to go until it finishes so I need something to pass the time with before me being desperate turns into being crazy.

My first idea was to take my mind off things by simply running in a circle as that usually helped me when I was on earth. After a while of doing that I learned something. That is that I don't get tired from running which in return meant that it didn't take my mind off anything much.

My next idea was to meditate which sounded like a good idea so I made a meditation pose while facing away from the panel and cleared my mind of all thoughts and feelings. It took time, but eventually I broke my deep meditation with my first thought in a while which was that I was bored.

I then had the thought of playing with my transparent and not solid body. It would be fun to test the limits of this strange body. My findings were actually semi interesting. One is that my body stays in the shape of my original body and it also can't stretch anything really long so I can't have a foot long finger.

Another thing is that if I bend backwards and try really hard I could actually make my entire upper body go through the lower and back out again which gave me a feeling that I don't think anyone could describe.

This led to the discovery of me having being able to bend anything in any direction as if I had no bones or muscles. When I did some yoga I accidentally turned myself into an abstract art sculpture.

I thought a little more as I waited and finally looked back to see that it was finally at 50% half way there already I wish I had some confetti to celebrate this moment. Unfortunately I lack anything of the sort. To think I have already spent about 2 days in here and have not gone insane yet!

The next thing I did was just flying and floating around my sphere waiting room using the invisible boarder to push off of to get some impressive speed and momentum. I did that for a long time until I got so excited that I forgot about the boundary and went head first into it hitting it and bouncing of it.

It didn't hurt surprisingly but it did make me feel weird along with giving me a headache. I decided that would be the end of that for a while. After all I would rather not want to learn if I explode into pixels if I take to much damage.

Now the next thing I want to do is… what next? I can't think of anything else to do in this Barren place. I wish that I could have kept my clothes, that way I could take my phone out of my pocket and use it.

My last resort is to just keep thinking about life until it finishes loading. It's not like I don't have a lot to think it's just that I am a person that simply can't sit still with nothing to do. I have no choice though so I'll just sit in here and wait.

How am I not insane I wondered as I have been waiting for what feels like days now. I feel like a brainless zombie just being here and doing nothing. I feel like I have blanked out a few times while I was waiting.

You would think that after being alone with my thoughts I would have some sort of epiphany but that is definitely not the case. I'm just very bored and contemplating whether or not I should hit my head on the wall to try and knock myself out or end my suffering.

It may sound extreme but I have already died so it won't be anything new. While I was thinking grim thoughts I heard a ding that got my attention and made my heart beat in anticipation as I looked over to see the screen.

[LOADING…100%]

Am I dreaming or is it finally done? Finally I can be freed from this hell and go into the big wide world. I then stared at it waiting for it to change the text now that it is done. As I need stimulation quickly to offset my boredom.

(What felt like an eternity later)

*DING* "Huh, what happened, I don't remember what anything. OW! my head hurts did I trip or something?" I was very confused as I couldn't sleep so how did I pass out. I quickly moved on as I had a much more important mater at hand as I looked up at the screen.

[115% loading complete say 'start' to begin]

It's finally done no more waiting I can finally achieve my lifelong dream of leaving this place and go have a adventure. I prepared myself for what was about to happen and with eagerness I said "start".

Instead of me being teleported out of here which was what I thought was going to happen a simple flat 2D map appeared in front of me with a entrance connected to a corridor leading to a single room with a green circular icon in the middle.

After looking at it for a little while 3 screens popped up that looked to be some sort of security camera. One was at the entrance which showed the outside which was a vast forest.

The second one was in the corridor facing towards the entrance, it was lined with grey bricks with nothing else in it. The last camera was in the single room which had something pretty interesting in it.

In the middle of the room was an extravagant pedestal and on it was a glowing green orb on top of it. It lined up perfectly with the icon on the map too. While I was wondering what was happening and what this place was I heard a robotic voice that came from another screen.

["Dungeon System Online. Activating All System Stores. Stats Set. Staring Kit Done. Synchronization of Soul Completed."]

["On Behalf of Dungeon System Good Luck"]

"Is that all? Surely it could at least explain a little more." After reading it again I learned that I am now in charge of a dungeon and am not an adventurer. That is unfair but I can't do anything about it.

I taped on the map icon and it read [Dungeon Core (You)] so that's my body. I can't even move, how am I supposed to have a fun adventure like this! I would rather be reincarnated as a worm that a non moving object.

I wonder what I can do as a dungeon at least. With that I did the first thing that went to my mind an said "status" hoping to get some kind of reaction. Luckily it worked and a screen popped up.

I was confused as to what my skill was so I pressed it and another screen popped up.

Skill: 10 Hits- All dungeon cores have this skill, no matter how strong or weak the attack is it takes 10 hits to break it. If hit can regain number of hits over time.

Doesn't that mean I am very weak? I hate my life. Anyway what else can I do, with that I said "Store" confidently knowing it would show up. All of the sudden a screen appeared with multiple options.

Not knowing what to pick I just chose the first one.

Without even looking at their stats I pressed the most obvious option. Now in the corridor I have 10 goblins with blank expressions on their faces. Suddenly another screen appears.

[First monster/s created, all dungeon monsters (unless certain conditions are met are) are brainless and will also follow any order you give them. Also (unless certain conditions are met are) cannot leave the dungeon.]

Well now I have my own soldiers so I ordered them to attack anyone that enters the dungeon and protect the dungeon core which could also be called my body. Hopefully I don't have anything strong come in here.

Now what else can I do while I wait?
