Inspirations: Worm, A Ghost of a Chance, Scientia Weaponizes the Future, other CYOAs (namely Built in the Heavens), Xeelee Sequence, and Isaac Arthur's exploration into Sci-Fi.

Inspired Inventor, if you are familiar with CYOAs you should know where it came from and what it does. However, should you be unfamiliar, this should catch you up to speed.
Inspired Inventor- You are the world's first Tinker 12. Each day you have five charges which can be spent to improve your tinker abilities within a specific area or theme. A single charge would make you a good tinker within an area, around Tinker 4-5. Each additional charge doubles your abilities(around a two-point bump up). A single charge in Cybernetics can have you creating robotic limbs centuries ahead of modern technology, spend some on medicine, and create a cure for cancer within the hour. All fields are applicable for this power, meaning spend some charges on Political Science and create forms of government that are overall superior to any we have on Earth.

In just about any other isekai setting, an Inspired Inventor antihero would work. Not so in the Tensura world. The overall lighthearted nature of this setting means that the MC's personality does not fit, and she's always forced to either yield to Rimuru whenever they disagree, or actually succeed in turning the setting into a grimdark one. Neither is an enjoyable prospect, and it only results in the MC trying to act all cool and edgy, but only succeeding in being cringeworthy.
Finally someone understands. In novels it's always magic has limitless potential. But science is the same and much more in my opinion, seeing as they can do the same things just by the innovations of the mind, which in my opinion is a much more amazing phenomenon than magic
I’ll just say that i was excited there was finally a inspired inventor fic, and then you kinda ruined it by nerfing it. you practically just made Him an evergrowing tinker with how you’ve blackboxed his tech so no one else can copy his instructions. which is a bit of a downer when your doing a kingdom building fic.
I love inspired inventor and a pity that it didn't have alot of fanfic for it.. Mostly in celestial forge or power manipulation.. This is a good idea.. I hate the mc simp though...
first part is good but it falls off due to I think that the tensura world just isn't a good world for this mc ...............................................................................
FINALLY!!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!! I found a novel of my taste. Oh how I like everything about science. Overall, the story had a great beginning I also love how the author created the MC. Keep it up author on such an awesome novel.

hate mc ,rimuru always reveal his secret to everyone that can cause them to get killed and mc do noting to rimuru, another issue is mc getting mistaken as female and not single time did he correct worst thing he started to act like as lady like dafuq the author must gay that's why, you should just make him female before he got reincarnated to avoid this genderbend
Mc sand bags hard because she's to kind and doesn't wanna commit genocides (understandable) she has tecgnology spanning the entire universe and trillions of spaceships but they never get used because that'll be too easy. Endbringers literally gets used once on a single city then forgotten,she builds a matrioshka brain then never fully use its capabilities. This is a very well written story but I don't think the combination of tensura and this mc was suited for a futuristic kingdom building fic

Dog water, mc tries to make a choice bht is to pathetic to follow through with anything if rimuru is there. 10/10 waste of time
does someone else know a novel with this concept with the main power of the mc being science smarts? Please tell me this one as a good concept but the story is not good because of the character the world setting because tensura does not combine with the mc and heavy nerfing so i did not like this
I am having trouble here is the mc male or female because it's getting confusing when you narrate it as him or her.........................
I like the concept and start of the story.. But this story is too dark for my test. I hope you add more tags that suits your story. Main reason I didn't like the novel because character did not add up to the original series. I guess this story for those who like dark, manipulative mc..
Pretty good, I recommend. MC is an Anti Hero in the truest sense, and he doesnt let his emotions guide him. He's very pragmatic but luckily, he still has a source of emotional logic by Rimuru, so he won't commit genocide just because it's the best thing to do.
This book leans HEAVILY into sciences of most fields and such. Most likely you need to have foreknowledge of topics or be a genius to understand basically anything. I enjoy that. Also Peak fiction.

I'm a Big Sci-Fi Fan, An I have to say this is one of the best stories I have read.
not a bad novel but the long explanations for somethings is kinda boring and then the mixing of no magic from the mc just bothers me
New Review The novel started off strong but fell a bit, but it's all been redeemed, and now we are in preparation for the final arc. For those who left thinking that the mc was just going to follow rimuru they were greatly mistaken, this world has branched off drastically from canon in a very intriguing way. And for those who thought inspired inventor wouldnt work in this world were also wrong, it made sense that tensura was just too bland and dull of a world that something complex like inspired inventor wouldnt fit in. WRONG. Author has made it fit in quite well, almost perfectly if I do say so myself. Of course the story and plot as a whole may seem shakey at points, but that's it, just shakey, the author manages to steady the foundation every time. Throughought the novel you may seem doubtful at some things, and doubt if things will work out in the end, and luckily for you, if you still kept on reading everything worked out and still is working out. Many people dropped this for the small negative points above, thinking that it would fail, all they needed was to give it a chance, I'm glad I did.
