Capítulo 10: Chapter 9 - His Heart Came Alive

“ALAN?! Both Collins and Dennis exclaimed in amazement. They were finding it hard to believe that Alan was the mastermind behind this.

Reynard made the explanation as brief as possible. He wasn't the type that talks too much anyway.

“How long has he been back? “How did he know of Freya?

Reynard wasn't able to answer their questions as he suddenly felt strange. His chest suddenly tightened. His eyes changed from His usual honey brown to red. He felt as if something was choking him. His whole body started to shake violently. Reynard clasp his chest. And held the wall for support. “What is happening to me?"

Dennis was the first to notice that something wasn't right with Reynard. He held him and asked him what was wrong. Collins also held him from the other side, worry was clearly visible on his beautiful oval face.

Reynard widened his eyes in wonderment. He looked down at his hand that was holding his chest and shook his head in denial. “No freaking way! “Did my Heart Just Beat?"

Dennis was frightened. “What is wrong with you? “How do you feel?" “Are you hurt somewhere? He threw barrage of questions at Reynard. He was discombobulated.

This has never happened before! Reynard never feels discomfort. No matter the amount of injury he sustains. He just heals within few seconds and it will be as if nothing ever happened. That is why seeing him suddenly in distress left both Collins and Dennis totally befuddled.

Without saying a world, Reynard took Dennis hand and placed it on his chest.

Dennis was wondering why Reynard sudden Placed his hand on his chest, When realization suddenly hit him. “It seemed like something just thumped in Reynard's chest.” His eyes was filled with shock and his mouth opened to ask him a question but the words were stuck in his throat. “Did Reynard's Heart just beat?”

Collins focused on the interaction between the two but he couldn't quite understand what was going on. Still not able to understand what was happening, Collins said “what happened to your chest?” Were you hurt there?" Seeing Reynard put Dennis's hand on his chest Collins Thought that, that was the cause of his distress.

Dennis shook his head and almost Smiled at Collins conclusion. Filled with enthusiasm Dennis explained to Collins. “He isn't hurt, His Heart came A... Alive!

“His What did what?

“His Heart Beats!

Collins found that very hard to believe. Wasn't his heart killed when Lucifer gave him additional powers? Collins gave Dennis a look as if saying “Oh please.”

Dennis understood the meaning of Dennis eyes but chose to Ignore and instead asked Reynard “What changed?"

As if to answer his question a nurse came and bowed before them. “Sir Reynard the baby is crying! She said fearfully.

The nurse knew how precious the baby was to Reynard, with how he held her and refuse to let go for several hours. She knew if anything happens to the baby, they would all be in trouble which was why she came to look for Raynard. She had given the baby her milk but she refused and kept crying.

“She was crying? “Reynard's heart started beating? “Could it probably be her cries that awoke Reynard's heart?” “Is this a good sign?

Seeing that Reynard hasn't answered her yet, the Nurse raised her head to look at him and ask him what should be done. ”Mr Reynard...I...."

Dennis and Collins also collected themselves out of their thoughts but found Reynard gone..
