Capítulo 16: Yuhi Kurenai
One of the team members was a large, burly guy, a member of the Akimichi clan. His name was a bit funny—Akimichi Ponji. It sounded like "pants" in a way.
Like Choji Akimichi, one of the Konoha 12 from the original series, Ponji loved to eat.
From the moment they met, he hadn't stopped munching on food.
Due to the absence of members from the Yamanaka and Nara clans, the traditional "Ino-Shika-Cho" formation couldn't be formed, so Ponji was assigned to this team instead.
After being placed together, the three briefly introduced themselves and then stayed silent.
Just when Aizen thought they might end up waiting all day like Team 7 under Kakashi, the classroom door creaked open.
A beautiful woman walked in. Yes, you heard right, a stunning beauty.
She had black, wavy hair parted in the middle, red eyes, and a cool, elegant face with a striking figure.
At first glance, she looked about twenty, but there was a maturity about her that young girls lacked.
She exuded a refined, feminine charm that made her truly pleasing to look at.
"Wow, those eyes, that hair, that figure... Could she be Kurenai Yuhi?" Aizen mentally ranted to himself.
After entering the classroom, the woman briefly glanced at each of them, nodded slightly, and walked to the podium. She wrote three large characters on the board: "Kurenai Yuhi."
"My name is Kurenai Yuhi, a newly promoted Special Jonin of Konoha. My favorite foods are shochu, vodka, and octopus with wasabi.
I dislike cake. I specialize in genjutsu, and this is my first time leading a team. From now on, I'll be your instructor, and you can call me Kurenai-sensei or Yuhi-sensei."
"Alright, now it's your turn to introduce yourselves."
"I... I..." The only girl among the three, Airi, eagerly raised her hand. "My name is Airi Akizuki. Kurenai-sensei, you're so... so beautiful."
Akimichi Ponji grabbed a handful of chips and shoved them into his mouth, crunching loudly as he introduced himself, "I'm Akimichi Ponji. I like chips and barbecue. There's nothing I really hate. I'm good at the Multi-Size Technique."
When it was Aizen Fujiwara's turn, a familiar system notification suddenly rang in his head.
[Ding! As the strongest "getleman" of your generation, how can you let this "big sister" become a widow for Asuma Sarutobi, that short-lived fool? Choose wisely.]
"1. Introduce yourself, kiss Kurenai Yuhi's hand, and confess your feelings to her. Reward: Perfect Water Chakra Affinity and Nature Transformation."
"2. Let Kurenai Yuhi be pursued by the clingy Asuma Sarutobi. Reward: Koharu Utatane's ancient underwear."
Underwear again? And it's from that old lady Koharu Utatane?
Aizen's mouth twitched uncontrollably.
This was practically social suicide.
Seeing that Aizen hadn't introduced himself, Airi gently nudged him and whispered, "Aizen-kun, it's your turn to introduce yourself."
Aizen nodded slightly, then spoke the answer he had already prepared in his heart, "My name is Aizen Fujiwara. My favorite food is stir-fried green peppers and eggs, and I dislike cilantro and animal organs. I'm skilled in taijutsu."
At this point, he took a deep breath.
As if making a big decision, he stepped up to Kurenai Yuhi, and with a serious tone, asked, "Kurenai-sensei, do you have a boyfriend?"
"I don't at the moment." Kurenai froze for a second, her face instantly turning red.
Although she was a Special Jonin, she was still a young woman inexperienced with relationships. For a moment, she didn't know how to respond.
Upon hearing this, Aizen gently took her hand and kissed it lightly. "Then be my girlfriend, Kurenai-sensei."
Crack!
Airi Akizuki and Ponji Akimichi stared in shock, their eyes practically popping out.
Even Kurenai Yuhi, who was usually composed, was caught off guard.
Her mind went blank.
For the first time in her life, someone had confessed to her face-to-face!
And it was a kid!
Though the kid was kind of cute and supposedly talented, oh my gosh, Kurenai, what are you even thinking?
While Kurenai's mind spiraled, Aizen's system chimed in again, [Ding! Mission complete. Congratulations, Host, for obtaining Perfect Water Chakra Affinity and Nature Transformation.]
Aizen's lips curled into a subtle smile as he stood up, feigning regret. "I suppose Kurenai-sensei thinks I'm too young. Well, we'll date when I'm older."
As he said this, Aizen walked off the podium under Airi and Ponji's awestruck gazes.
Airi even gave him a thumbs-up, as if to say, "Aizen-kun, you're amazing! You actually flirted with the teacher!"
Just then, Kurenai finally snapped back to reality.
Realizing she had been played, her face flushed with anger, turning red and purple in quick succession. Her expression darkened, and she called out coldly, "Aizen-kun."
"Yes?" Aizen turned around, fully aware that he had ticked her off.
"You said you wanted to date me, right?" In a flash, Kurenai was standing behind him, her soft hand brushing his cheek.
"So this is a Special Jonin's speed?" Aizen observed Kurenai's movement calmly, unfazed, and replied, "That's right."
"Well then, until you officially become a Chunin, I'll make sure to take special care of you."
Kurenai smiled dangerously, then turned to Airi and Ponji. "You two, meet me at the training field. I want to see your skills today."
"Yes, ma'am." The two gulped, sensing the serious tone in her voice. With heavy hearts, they followed her to the training field.
With her arms crossed, Kurenai looked at them coldly. "I'll give you some time to strategize. You can all attack me at once—don't hold back. Fight like you're trying to kill me. I'll make sure to 'take care' of you," she said, specifically targeting Aizen with that last sentence.
Hearing this, both Airi and Ponji's faces grew serious.
Airi turned to Aizen and said, "Aizen-kun, I admire your boldness toward Kurenai-sensei, but it looks like she's not holding back. We can't possibly beat a Special Jonin.
Let me be the bait, Ponji can use the Multi-Size Technique to attack, and then you can take advantage of her dodging to land a taijutsu strike. Kurenai-sensei is skilled in genjutsu, so her taijutsu might be her weak point."
"No problem." Aizen glanced meaningfully at Kurenai, who was watching them closely. Drawing his Zanpakuto, he let a flash of white light shine as he silently thought, "Shatter, Kyoka Suigetsu."
The hypnosis was complete. But he didn't plan to use Kyoka Suigetsu in this battle. He sheathed his sword.
"You're not using your sword?" Airi asked, surprised.
Aizen shook his head and deliberately raised his voice, "This isn't a life-or-death battle. What if I accidentally hurt Kurenai-sensei?"
