Capítulo 46: Chapter 45

Sry bit late :(

As the saying goes, "Harsh lands breed unruly people."

This rundown little town was a textbook example of that adage. Under the leadership of the bald thug, the town was rife with crime and wickedness.

"Are you alright?"

Morin turned to Pakunoda, who had quietly been watching the scene unfold from the sidelines.

"I'm fine."

She shook her head, though her gaze lingered on the gaping hole in the ground.

A faint trace of amazement flickered across her delicate features.

"For just a pickaxe to unleash such power…"

Pakunoda couldn't help but think that Morin resembled a magical treasure chest, always capable of pulling out extraordinary and unpredictable items.

She never knew what he would produce next, making every moment with him a mix of surprise and mystery.

What had initially seemed like a mundane journey to hone their Nen abilities was now unexpectedly vibrant and exciting.

"This thing doesn't really work as a weapon, though."

After some thought, Morin stored the Power Pickaxe away.

In the Phantom Troupe, almost everyone carried a weapon, with the exception of Pakunoda and Franklin, who used Nen bullets instead of traditional tools.

There were Nobunaga and Feitan with their swords, Shalnark with his phone, Machi with her threads, Shizuku with her vacuum, and even Chrollo with his stolen abilities cataloged in his book.

Woody combatants like Uvogin and Phinks preferred brute force, but Morin had a different preference.

He valued precision and strategy, preferring a methodical approach to combat.

Since he possessed numerous unique tools, Morin hoped that if he ever needed to engage in a head-on battle, he would have a truly exceptional weapon at his disposal.

Speaking of extraordinary weapons, Morin's thoughts briefly turned to Doraemon's pocket, which contained an arsenal of devastating gear.

Nicknamed the "Master of Earth-Destroying Weapons," Doraemon had everything from cold steel to advanced firearms.

Perhaps his most infamous possession was the Smith & Wesson M1917 revolver.

With the Power Pickaxe safely stored, Morin and Pakunoda made their way back into the shabby saloon.

By now, the establishment was deserted. Everyone, from the bartender to the patrons, had fled.

All that remained was a small figure in a red princess dress, swaying her head back and forth at the bar.

Golden pigtails bobbed as she moved, making her look irresistibly adorable.

"Is she the one the Vice Leader wants us to find?"

Pakunoda's sharp eyes focused on the girl, observing her every move.

To sit so boldly in a place like this, dressed as she was, spoke volumes about the girl's confidence—or her strength.

Even after Morin had unleashed his malevolent Nen to subdue the townsfolk, forcing many to flee, the girl remained seated, completely unaffected.

This wasn't just ordinary bravery; it was a display of utter indifference and unshakable composure.

Though she looked no older than thirteen, her calm demeanor suggested she wasn't an ordinary child.

As someone from Meteor City, Pakunoda knew better than to trust appearances.

Outward innocence could easily mask danger.

Remembering Morin's instructions, Pakunoda immediately activated Ten to shield her body and Gyo to heighten her awareness.

But just as she finished preparing—

"Your Gyo usage is decent, but you were a bit slow," came a crisp, melodious voice.

The girl, who had been facing away from them, slowly turned around.

It was clear she was the one speaking.

"And judging by your Ten, you've only recently started learning Nen. Am I right?"

Though her face was youthful and serene, her words carried a weight that put Pakunoda under immense pressure.

It felt like being caught misbehaving in class by a stern teacher.

A bead of sweat trickled down Pakunoda's temple.

"You're here for me, aren't you?"

The golden-haired girl shifted her gaze to Morin, whose relaxed smile suggested he felt no such pressure.

She immediately recognized who was in charge.

Looking Morin up and down, she added, "Your Nen control is adequate, though nothing exceptional. Considering your age, however, I suppose it's commendable."

She delivered her assessment with a composed air, nodding slightly in approval.

Despite her youthful appearance, her tone and demeanor were almost comically authoritative.

"Receiving praise from Biscuit Krueger herself is an honor," Morin replied with a smile.

Yes, the petite and charming girl before them was none other than Biscuit Krueger, the famed Nen master who had trained Gon and Killua in the original story.

And she was precisely the person Morin had come to find.
