As he made his way through the alleys of Zephyria, Alex followed a figure of a blonde-haired girl wearing the same outfit as the girl he had saved earlier and killed all those slaves who attacked her.
To be honest Alex didn't planned to save the girl at first but after seeing that she is so much proficient in magic Alex decided to save her.
This was because in this way he could get himself a teacher for teaching him magic and at the same time have himself a guide who might help him inside the city.
Though he had taken the risk by saving her himself he doesn't care about it for now since if he could learn magic and has the same powers that Touya had in the novels and anime he doesn't believe anyone in this world could do anything to him.
Touya in the novels was described as a god in the making who has the same divine spark as the god of worlds.
He isn't just physically strong but also has a large magic reserves along with the ability to use almost any magic in existence.
He is truly an overpowered main character and also a bit decent considering the other protagonists of various novels and animes but Alex always felt that he is a bit boring and idiot, he was always portrayed more like that of an errand boy for other monarch than a proper monarch and wasted a lot of his potential by doing nothing significant or training.
Alex thought about the anime and the future of this world before sighing and stopping his train of thoughts and looked at the girl in front of him.
The girl had beautiful blonde hair that cascaded down her back in gentle waves, catching the light with every move she made.
Her stunning blue eyes shone like crystals, drawing the gaze of anyone who looked at her. Her black outfit hugged her curves perfectly, emphasizing her hourglass figure and C cup breasts.
As she moved, her clothing flowed around her, complementing her beauty and grace, leaving a lasting impression on those who beheld her.
Despite having seen countless beautiful women and spending nights with many supermodels, Alex couldn't help but admit that the girl in front of him was the most beautiful one he had ever met in his life.
Lexi: "Lexi..."
Alex: "Huh?"
Lexi: "My name is Lexi Little," the girl introduced herself without looking back at Alex, making her way through the small alleys of the city.
Alex: "Lexi? That's a beautiful name. By the way, my name is Alexander Crown, but you can call me Alex," he replied.
Lexi: "Thank you, Alex," she said as she continued walking.
Lexi: "Not from around here, are you?" she said, finally looking back at Alex from the corner of her eyes as she examined him in his strange clothes.
Alex: "No, I'm not from around here. I don't even belong to Sandora," Alex said, not telling the whole truth but unable to come up with a good excuse for visiting the infamous country.
Lexi: "Not from Sandora? So what are you doing here? I don't think people come here just for traveling," she said, stopping in her tracks and looking directly at Alex.
Alex: "Well, that's a really long story, but in short, you could say that due to a mistake, I teleported here to Sandora with nowhere else to go," Alex said with a smile, withholding the full truth.
Lexi: "I see. That's definitely unfortunate for you," she said with a hint of sympathy in her voice.
Alex: "Haha, yes, it definitely is," Alex said, chuckling along with her.
Alex: "So, Lexi, I wanted to ask you who were those people trying to capture you?" Alex asked suddenly, looking straight into her mesmerizing blue eyes.
Lexi: "Well, that..." Lexi began to reply, but Alex interrupted her.
Alex: "If I'm not wrong, the leader of the group of men chasing you was able to cast a null magic, so he is definitely a prized slave, which is rare to come by," Alex continued, "and also, the group were riding magical beasts which, if I'm not wrong, are referred to as magical knights, the force the Sandora kingdom boasts about."
Looking seriously into Lexi's eyes, Alex asked, "Who were they?"
Lexi didn't say anything and finally sighed.
Lexi: "Sigh... well, yes, they were the magical knights of the kingdom, the elite force controlled by the Slave King himself."
Lexi then made her way towards the wall, which was the dead end for the road, and placed her hands on a colored brick that looked distinct in the wall. She imbued her magic power into the brick, causing it to shine and the wall to open up as a gate.
Lexi:"Follow me," she said, walking down the dark stairs. Alex followed her curiously as the gate closed behind them, taking the form of a wall once again.
Lexi:"We call this the secret gate, which our founder discovered during his prime days," Lexi explained. "This secret door leads us to an underground room our founder created as a perfect hiding spot and base for people like us."
Alex: "People like you?" Alex raised an eyebrow in question when Lexi mentioned people like her.
Lexi: "Yes, people like us, who yearn for freedom, who want to replace this corrupt society of Sandora and want to establish proper order while usurping the throne of the current inquitous king of Sandora."
Upon emerging from the dark stairwell, Alex was met with the lively scene of a large training camp. Adults of all genders could be seen vigorously practicing martial arts, weapon arts, and military drills, demonstrating their commitment to their craft.
Even children were getting involved, playfully mimicking the movements of the grown-ups. The atmosphere was charged with energy and dedication.
Lexi: "....we are the Rebels"
