"Sir, may I assume control of the workshop?"
"Well, certainly, Astrid."
Alex granted Astrid permission to take charge of his workshop, which was filled with his customized equipment.
Astrid, following Alex's previous plans and framework, began working on inventing the items that were on his list of creations. Meanwhile, Alex left the workshop and headed to Arcadia's castle.
During the past month, Arcadia had flourished under Alex's introduction of his own company, providing access to excellent products that improved the residents' lives. Additionally, with the guidance of the council, the entire land, once plagued by despair, was now filled with joy and celebrations.
Everyone was now able to live freely, and their quality of life had significantly improved.
Upon arriving at his castle, Alex found Tsubaki waiting for him, dressed in a black outfit he had designed and enchanted with powerful spells.
"Your Majesty," Tsubaki bowed to Alex with a serious expression, to which he simply waved his hand and took a seat in his chair.
Throughout the month, Tsubaki had adapted to life in Arcadia and to her responsibilities under Alex's leadership. She proved to be a talented individual with great abilities, taking on the role of Chief of the King's Guard. Tsubaki began recruiting capable men to join the King's Guard.
Alex and Tsubaki's relationship had grown closer over time. However, being the serious and aloof person she was, Tsubaki never showed any signs of affection for Alex. This made him wonder how Tsubaki would become his wife, sometimes casting doubt on Regina's information about the future.
"What are today's reports, Tsubaki?" Alex inquired, observing the girl in front of him as she presented a projection disc displaying a battle between two metallic robots.
"It appears that ShadowStrike and StellarKnights have already become familiar to everyone," Alex remarked as he watched the skirmish between the two new model units of Framegears.
With Alex's imaginative ideas and Regina's expertise, they were able to create blueprints for numerous framegear models, which would serve as the foundation for the framegears used by the Arcadian army.
These models are all the basic ones and every new models in the future would be based on these few models mostly and would be mass produced. They are namely:
Infernas is a dominant framegear model specializing in close combat and cold weapons. It serves as the foundational unit equipped by the majority of the army and boasts a striking red color scheme. Aria leads this force, although her own commander-class framegear is still under development.
The Juggernauts are renowned for their immense strength and excel in unarmed combat and wielding blunt weapons. Their black and golden paint scheme adds a touch of grandeur, making them an awe-inspiring sight. These framegears are particularly favored by berserkers due to their raw power.
Novas, the elite framegear units, harness flying spells and are designed for both close-quarters combat and aerial skirmishes. Equipped with an array of guns and ammunition, they are the fastest units among the framegears. Only a select few of Arcadia's most skilled warriors have the privilege of piloting these swift and agile grey-colored machines.
ShadowStrike is a specialized unit tailored for assassins. Their pitch-black color seamlessly blends with darkness, enhancing their stealth abilities and making them difficult to detect. Under the leadership of Lilith, this assassination unit operates covertly and strikes with precision.
Stellar Knights are a distinguished group of framegears that prioritize defense while maintaining formidable offensive capabilities. Their silver-colored armor reflects their commitment to protection, and they are equipped with cutting-edge modern ammunition. Selene, a council member and the head of the knight order, leads this exceptional unit.
Verdants are enchanting framegears that cater to magic-oriented and support roles, specifically designed for mages. These green-colored framegears are equipped with staffs and are exclusively operated by Arcadia's elite mages, providing invaluable magical assistance on the battlefield.
Lastly, Aether specializes in long-range attacks and possesses the ability to fly. While also mage-oriented like the Verdants, the Aether unit focuses primarily on offense. Lexi, the royal mage of the kingdom, leads this formidable group, employing their devastating long-range capabilities to great effect.
These are the foundational models of the frame gears, which will be equipped by the soldiers of the army. The army is led by the members of the council, all of whom are highly skilled in combat.
The introduction of these frame gears left everyone awestruck, generating excitement among the army to try them out.
Arcadia's royal army operates under centralized command, ensuring order throughout the kingdom. The knight order, led by Aria and Selene, receives direct orders from Alex himself.
The army is composed of former rebels who fought alongside Alex during the Sandora rebellion, as well as former battle slaves and Sandora locals who joined for employment.
The frame gears have gained popularity among the soldiers of Arcadia, who diligently practice their skills through simulations generated by the frame units.
These frame gears are currently kept confidential from the public and the guild. A magical contract, facilitated by an artifact created by Regina, prevents any leaks about the frame gears.
The frame gears have been enchanted with numerous spells discovered by Alex and Regina in the grimoire, safeguarding against plagiarism. However, if someone gains inspiration from them, similar to the dwarves in the novel, that is a different matter.
Tsubaki continued her reports on the frame gears and their reception among the soldiers. She then moved on to various topics regarding the kingdom before finally addressing international reports.
"...There are reports of a potential rebellion in the northeastern parts of the Regulus Empire. The people there are discontent with the emperor's rule and aim to establish their own separate country, similar to what the Roadmare Union did two centuries ago."
"These uprisings were initially small, but after news of your successful rebellion against the slave king spread, they intensified. They are currently led by the former general and noble of the Empire, Gideon Hawthorne, who is now on the run."
Tsubaki concluded her reports, mentioning the situation in the Regulus Empire.
The Regulus Empire is currently in a weakened state, experiencing various riots throughout its territory.
Since the formation of the Roadmare Union, many individuals have rebelled against the empire's throne, demanding their own nation. Although suppressed, these rebellions have persisted, and after Alex's recent achievements, they have grown more intense.
The coup in Regulus is yet to happen, and General Bazoar is still considered loyal to the emperor. However, further investigation has revealed his connections to the rebel leaders within the empire's factions.
If Alex's assessments are correct, the coup will occur soon, and General Gonzales will reveal his true intentions to the world.
Gonzales may have contacted these revolutionaries, seeking their cooperation during the rebellion, falsely promising them independence or some other reward once the coup is successful.
Alex listened to Tsubaki's report before dismissing her and reclining in his seat, closing his eyes deep in thought.
"...it's time," he muttered to himself, rising from his seat and teleporting to another location.
