"Wait, is this a system from those animes and novels?!"
Klyde got up and carefully analysed the info on his screen.
"Yeah, this is totally a system. So I close it by though?" Klyde said, before he started thinking about closing the system, and the system disappeared.
"Woah, it totally worked!" Klyde tried to calm himself from the over excited and regain his thoughts.
Normally he wasn't all excited like this. Klyde was the calm, collected type. He did work for the military which made his filled with less joy. Mark was the only who actually made his life worth living.
Suddenly, two screens opened in front of him.

Then system then closed.
"That's a lot of info to unload. Well, if I have an inventory that means I can put all this stuff in there."
Klyde picked up and the items from the chest and helt them in his hands. He closed his eyes and though about putting his items in an imaginary container. The items glowed before disappeared from his hands.
"That was kinda easy…" Klyde said before brushing it off.
He turned to the river besides him which was flowing calmly. The sound of the flow of the river was music to his ears. The then walked a bit away from the river. His eyes now filled with determination, he ran to the river before jumping across it. Though his jump landed his a bit ahead of the river.
"I landed further than expected… Interesting… Well, time to go to the town." Klyde said as he headed in the direction of the supposed town.
20 Minutes passed a he was still a bit far away from the city. Past this point he started hearing bits of chatter and people's footsteps. He thought it might be adventures doing their quests so he didn't pay attention to it.
Klyde started hearing the crackling of ice forming. He started looking around to see as he didn't know we're the sound was coming from. He heard a burst of wind and an ice shard shot forwards towards him.
The shard almost hit his head, scraping his cheek and digging into a tree behind him. He saw red eyes glooming in a darker spot of the forest, slowly approaching him. Klyde stood in a fight stance, readying himself for whatever creature would come out of the dark.
The creature finally came out and it was a light blue fox with red eyes and dark blue marking. Right as the wolf showed itself, a screen above it's head appeared.
‹↑Frost Wolf ›
< Health: 500/500 >
'A Frost Wolf…? It sounds like something that uses ice magic or whatever. If I can't beat it I'll just fly out of here.' He smirked.
The Frost wolf started charging at him, preparing another ice spike. It shot the spike and Klyde covered his unprotected head with his arms.
The shard hit his forearms and shattered, doing no damage. He lowered his arms and ran towards the wolf. He tried punching the wolf but missed. The wolf took this opportunity to bit his arm.
It tried to bite his arms but couldn't penetrate the steel. A steel blade retracted from his left wrist and he stabbed the wolf on its neck with it.
‹↑Frost Wolf ›
< Health: 440/500 >
He didn't notice the amount of damage he had done and just kept stabbing it. A total of 4 times in its already cut wound.
‹↑Frost Wolf ›
< Health: 200/500 >
Ice started to form on his arm from were it bit, spreading over his body. It covered his entire arm and continue to spread. Klyde remained calm and blade retracted back into his wrist and what came out next was blaster.
He fired it on the head of the wolf, completely vaporizing its head off. Its body just fell to the floor but he didn't pay attention to it. He tried to flex his arm to break the ice off his arm and after few cracks the ice shattered, freeing his arm.

"Well, the system said I had more menu options. I guess I'll check the attributes menu."

"Oh. Now that's disappointing. It may be useful though."He looked at his sword, wondering what it's stats could be. He imagined opening a window showing the stats of his sword and analysis activated.

"It worked!" He lifted his sword in the air. "I used my first skill! The sword does 30 damage. And what if I enhance it? I'll check that later. For now I'll just go to the town."
Klyde attached his sword to his hip again and continued on his journey to the town.
An hour passed and he finally reached the city.
"If only I had my helmet I could use a map of this place… No, I'd need a satellite and I doubt they have one in this world. At least a compass and tracker."
As he walked to the gate of the city and there were two guards guarding it. Both of them were wearing armour without helmets. The two weren't paying attention to him and when they noticed him they looked rather shocked.
"Is that a skypirian?!" The guard on the right asked the one on the left.
"No. Skypirians don't come to Estrin anymore. We're practically going to war at this point you idiot!" The guard on the right responded.
"Wait, I was never told that!"
"Gosh, you're such an idiot!"
'What are they talking about?' Klyde thought.
"Ehem!" Klyde cleared his throat.
"Oh, um. Sorry sir. Would you like to enter the city?" The guard on the left said.
"Yes, I would." Klyde said. His voice sounding a bit irritated.
"Well, we'll just need your card."
Klyde was confused at first as to what they were talking about then remembered the card he got from the chest. The card appeared in his hand and this surprised the guard. They quickly regained their senses and the one on the right took his card.
"Klyde Tolan. Level 25. Human…. Your card is white so you can't be an adventurer. Well, you're free to pass Mr Tolan." The guard handed him his card back.
"Thank you very much." Klyde took his card and entered the city. Inside he was surprised to see that the town was indeed a mediaeval town.
He could hear lots of chatter and laughter. He smelt the wonderful aroma of food being cooked. He could see lots of humans, elf wondering about, some talking to each other. Kids playing around in the road. He also saw people walking around with weapons and armour, others carrying wands or staffs while some even looked like they had magic clothing.
'Does this world have adventurers? This does look like the main road since it goes straight through the entire town. I should be able to find an adventurer's guild here.'
It was decided. Klyde wanted to become an adventurer. After walking down the main road he reached the centre, which had a fountain and a statue of a sword. Turns out the main road split in 4 directions.
While wondering he realised that his armour draws a lot of attention. And not because it's other worldly tech. He heard the names "Skypiria" and "Estrin" get thrown around. He figured Estrin is were he currently is and Skypiria a soon to be enemy of Estrin and that Skypiria is far more advanced in terms of technology.
Some said that Klyde could be very rich, others thinking he's very powerful or maybe a noble. And even some complimenting his looks. Klyde was very handsome after all.
He finally found the adventurers guild which was close to the centre. He stood in front of the door and above was a sigh. Arhime Adventurers Guild. Was the town he lived in called Arhime, Klyde wondered.
As he was about to open the door, the system rudely interrupted him.
