Chief Amaris took a sigh after she received a message from her son. Her mind just couldn't process the situation yet, as the black shadow, which is Brom's new familiar, loomed over her head.

'Mam, I need to go back to Brom, he probably waiting.'

She turns around to see the black shadow, her eyes squinted at the shapeless monster. "You know, Fantom, I would like for you to call my son, your master, as he is your master."

'Hmph… I refused to call him that, as he and I were just a partner because he never imprinted on me.'

Chief Amaris looking tentatively at the huge shadow, "What do you mean? Surely, he needs to imprint a monster to gain one."

'No, I volunteered to assist your son, because he can't imprint any monster.'
