Raucous laughter rang throughout the crowded restaurant as our extended family celebrated our victory. Gazing around the room at those I held most dear, warmth kindled in my chest, chasing away darker memories. Here, there was only life.

Shortly after the Final Battle—as it is now called—Seven took Siren as his Mate, and they married in a ceremony in the Shadowcrest Warriors Pack shortly after, surrounded by both of our Packs.
