Alexis's POV:
Everything was just so overwhelming but I couldn't help but think about Rafeal. So I was just gonna let go of him like that. Someone walked closer to me and stood beside me on the balcony. I turned to see it was Kamile. He had a blank look on his face and he just stared at the moon.
'My mom always said that everything happens for a reason and our choices also affect these things', He took a deep breath and continued, 'I know that parents can be demanding but clearly your father cares for you unlike mine. Just do the right thing'. He stopped talking and turned to leave but I stopped him holding his upper arm. He turned and looked at me with a raised eyebrow.
'Thank you', was all I could say. I released his arm and turned to look back at the sky. He sighed and mumbled a 'your welcome ' before leaving.
'There you are sweetie', my dad said coming next to me. 'I'm sorry', he finally said after a brief moment of silence.
'Its fine. I will marry him if that what you want'.
'Listen....', he started.
'No you listen. I said its fucking fine I will do whatever you want not like I have a choice anyway'. I gave him one last look before walking out of him.

'Now everyone turn to page 89 and answer all the questions there. I expect to see it before lunch break', I faintly heard the chemistry teacher say. I was so tired and exhausted.
'Alex! Alex!', I faintly heard her call my name. I felt someone take my hand and carry me to God knows where. The person carried me for a distance before placing me on a bed.
'What's going on?', I finally was able to ask.
'Your dehydrated and you need to sleep', the person said and I immediately recognized the voice.
'Rafeal!'.
'Yes it's me now sleep', he held my hand and moved my hair away from my face before planting a kiss on my forehead. I tried to push the thoughts about my upcoming marriage out of my mind and enjoy this moment. Maybe it will be the last but I would still have to tell him.
